I think you guys are talking about his traps. Looks like he doesn't have any on the figure. This also makes the neck appear thinner/longer. Its like the DX12. Not sure how you'd go about fixing that though. Maybe stuff some cotton under the suit or something?

THANX for this comparison shot Predatore!!:clap You can see the difference between the HT and real cowl!Albeit, the PICS. are from a different angle but you can still really notice the areas that are lacking!

To me the whole head still looks a little too narrow, and the neck too thin. The shoulders are too flat as well... They should taper down from the neck... But that's a pretty
easy fix.
:exactly: Karnis, you're right my friend as usual!:) You can totally see that the neck is narrow when compared to the actual movie stills.Hopefully they can either widen the neck or narrow the cowl as well as fixing the brow!

:exactly:I didn't even noticed that his trapezoids were missing(lacking)!Personally, this is also one of the reasons why i liked the overall presence of the EB Bats!Yeah the EB Bats had some trap issues too but not like that!Regardless,I'll still be getting this one unless EB pulls a Hail Mary an announces their own TDK suit!:thud::wink1:

You guys are going to spoil this figure for yourselves if you keep nitpicking every last detail! It looks amazing!

Folks- it's lighting in the pics and comparing all the subtle differences in a 1/1 suit vs a 1/4 suit!!!!!

Looks about as close as it can get for me...although if HT can get closer then by all means go for it!

If the final figure ends up looking like what we saw at SDCC, I'll be one happy camper.

I think the eyes still look too big but it is only slightly, but hard to tell for certain :dunno. Nevertheless, its good enough considering I expect the eyes to never be as small as painted eyes like the medicom cowl, because of the PERS.

That being said, I am happy with what I see now. :yess:

I agree, but the cowl is good enough for me. Never really noticed nor care about the shoulder issues but not saying your point is not warranted as I know a lot of people passed on the DX12 because of the body as well as the ugly head. However, for me personally all I care about is the head sculpt and I think the body for this figure is good enough.

HT Batman nose seems to be a little awkward.:(

Yeah it look's like a bit of a witch's nose how it hangs down but that could be the angle. Nevertheless, it is a minor nit pick to me.

Same here!

:hi5:

Anything else they fix now would be a bonus! :wink1:

Why is this no longer on sideshows website?

I think the SDCC pictures of this answers your question! :lol

Those shots look incredible to me. I see very very very minor differences that would never bother me.

Since you are new here you don't know how well Maglor knows the suit. He will be able to pick every flaw, that most of us don't see. he really knows his stuff.

Give it time...you'll come around. :lecture :yess: :hi5: :lol

Most likely. :(

I PO the 2 DX12 i have. Along with mark vii ex, joker 2.0 ex, selina kyle, bane etc. this is the only figure i disnt PO because i wasnt sold on the initial sculpt when they reveal it, and i doubt many is offering custom sculpt at this scale.

I was gonna wait for EB's version or wait till i see inhand pics of this before deciding, but it seems they alread fixed it jusdging from the toy fair pics. Im 99% sold - the other 1% is from in hand pics.

Oh wow this is the only figure that u were interested in that you didn't pre order? Can't say I blame you though as I didn't pre order based on the observations you mentioned as well. Nevertheless, like you I was still interested in the figure because I wanted a TDK suit Batman at 1/4 scale.

Yeah I thought I would wait for in hand pics but the fact that this is sold out at sideshow already I am thinking about preo ordering it. Only question now is where. Hmm.

Side by side photos of a collectible with its real life counterpart are the worst thing you can do, you could put a picture of the enterbay BD T-800 next to photos of Arnie from the film and find issues with that sculpt and it's the best sculpt I've ever seen.

This guy will look incredible on our shelves.

Just watch videos of this. Stunning.

Im prolly gonna buy the instock ones. Theres no way people arw gonna shell out more than $500-600 for these, as the market is pretty limited for 1/4 market.

:goodpost:

Yeah someone will always find flaws. I think if you recognize the person and are blown away there is really no need to compare.

Well I will only pre order if I get it for a cheaper price than what they will be on ebay. I am guessing I won't be able to buy these for sideshow prices unless I pre order it from my LCS, since they sold out like hot cakes on sideshow!

You should've re-sized the figure to the same size as the real one... :dunno

I think Hot Toys got the chest emblem part a bit off, look in the left side and it curves whereas the movie suit was a straight corner... Well maybe the guy who posed the figure dropped it lol who knows.

Cheeks are off too. Theyr meant to be a bit softer and less prominent. I cant believe im picking these things out but after you put it next to a movie suit you really start to see what accuracy is and isnt...
