1/6 MMS188 The Dark Knight Rises: Selina Kyle/Catwoman Figure Full Specs & Pics

So im pretty new to collecting these and so far I have got Batman (DX12), Bane and Joker 2.0 since March. I think theyre all brilliant! I have Catwoman on pre-order, but to be honest im not sure whats happened to her but I pre-ordered this - https://www.hottoys.com.hk/productDetail.php?productID=150

Firstly full credit to that guy OMG in that other thread as he's made her look half decent, i know ill never be able to get the same effect. So like i said im new to all this and after 3 amazing figures what happened to Selina Kyle?! The images we all saw that made us pre-order looked so detailed and amazing, i couldnt believe how real she looked. But then I start seeing images of her in hand and youtube videos and shes turned out completely different! Are you all really excited for her still, knowing technically you're not getting what you paid for? Im tempted to cancel my pre-order as although she looks ok, if im paying £140+ for a highly detailed figure I want to display, then I know I want the Selina Kyle they advertised in the first place.

Get used to it, dear. There will be loads of non-photogenic Hot Toys models out there, but I assure you that they all look pretty convincing on-hand. I myself am also new at this, only being in it for half a year or so, but so far I have to admit I have no qualms about the figures.

Of course, my biases might come from the fact that I'm more nitpicky about the clothing details rather than the headsculpt (more importantly the face up) itself.

I can definitely see out of the pics I'm seeing why some people complain about this figure. The seam behind the ear, the paint apps on the face (which we see by some customs could have been done better), and the granny panties on the butt shots, and I'm sure some other things. It's a shame that Hot Toys didn't take this figure a little more seriously. Don't get me wrong I'm not canceling my order but I definitely feel that as they don't do many female figures that they should have taken better care of this one. It'll work just fine for my collection but I can see why some were disappointed and canceled.

I'm still excited. Prototype paint always looks better than production paint. But she still looks great to me. I'm pretty good at looking past misleading poor picture/video quality.

Not Hot Toys best effort here. Based on pictures I have seen so far, I honestly do not see the difference between "doll" and "Hot Toys" .
Good strategy to release her last as it's gonna be hard to pass on her if you have the rest of TDKR line up. But I don't think anyone is going to be blown away here! I think another part is that the character design is boring. Only thing I like is the the tall heels….

no offense, but a lot of pictures i've seen here so far are way too harshly lit. like the dx12, she's never going to look great under glaring lights.

it does include a hairnet to put the hair up, though.
