So much 3rd party awesome thispast weekend.

That depends on your mileage for Classics style reimagined designs and endless combiners.

If like me, you have no intrest in that kind of thing it was a pretty average set of reveals....which is OK as it means I'll have more money for Masterpieces.

Can't get enough of the awesomeness of this guy.
When will Skywarp get the new mold treatment?

Hey, It's awesome even if you're not planning to buy it :lol

The Live drop test that Peague did for teh MMC Predacons was GREAT.

He dropped one of them ( i forget which) from 6 feet, no damage.

Personaly, the Maketoys Computron, IDW Swerve, Nova Prime, and The trailer for TFSS Scourge all make my Gotta have it list.

Computron was one of the FEW combiners I actualy HAD as a kid.

BBTS has put up a option to now order a Quakewave with uninstalled batteries for $155, $5 less than the installed batteries one. I changed my order.

What is pretty F...d up with this is that the two parts you install batteries, require 2 different type of batteries too.The one i installed on the arm is too big for the head.

I read people stripped their figures too when trying to install the batteries. Did you have any problems?

Really?
The battery CR1025 i was told was the one to use fits perfectly in the arm.But i tried to use the same one on the head and you can make it fit i guess with a squezze but there are fragile parts inside the head so i didn't want to risk it.

I forgot what I read, either stripping the screw itself or the plastic on the battery cover. Unless people ain't using the correct screw driver size. Use error :lol

Yeah i know what you're referring to.What this was,was that many new figures actually came with stripped screws to begin with for some strange reason, including mine.
Great QC huh?:lol

Oh, thanks for clearing it up. Maybe that's why they are now selling it with the batteries un installed.

I guess I've just become spoiled by all the super accurate G1 stuff in the last year or so :dunno

Since I dropped Classics collecting most 3rd party stuff seems much of a muchness to me, especially from companies like FansProject who seem to use the same overly blocky blueprint for virtually every character they make.

The 3rd party companies I'm really eager to see something new from are,

1.FansToys
( I'm guessing they'll wait until they're almost ready to ship their next new mold before revealing it. )

2.Mach 5
( Another small scaled Wrecker should be within their capabilities, namely Guzzle. )

3.Mech Ideas
( I'm intrested to see if they're going to do any more Wreckers. )

Rock83,
The battery will go in, just be prepared to do a lot of fiddling about in order to get the back of the head to fit back on 100% flush.

I gave up in the end and there's a small gap but it's not really noticeable unless you make a point of looking for it so no big deal.

I struggle with the same thing too, once you open the back of the head, don't expect it to go all the way in again. No its not very noticable, just annoying:lol

You got stripped screws too?

I've got a collection of Prime figures. All the characters from the show except the Ultimate Predaking figure.

Same here, just picked up voyagers OP, UM, SW, PK and deluxe Smokescreen. I got the Ultimate Predaking on hold at target but don't think I'm gonna pick it up today since they only hold till closing time. Still debating to see if it will go on clearance.

Yeah I plan on getting him whenever I find him at my Target. He's the only Predacon I plan on getting out of the Prime line.
