The proportions on Batgirl look super wonky and I'm not batty about the 52 costume on Supergirl.

Haven't gotten one of these since before the 52 Wonder Woman.

I think the retro pin-up girl line is looking far, far more interesting now.

Just received Death in the mail... she is the only NON-AH! statue in the line that I picked up and she fits well with the other ladies... doesnt have the same rack as the others but she is just sooo pretty... I doubt I will pick up any others in this line unless something peaks my interest like Death did

Just received my Death statue as well. She looks incredible!

DC really needs to step up their QC though. Mine had too much glue on her shoulder (from the umbrella). Her necklace was glued onto her backside! I had to scrape it off her skin and some of the paint came off with it. Not cool DC!!

When viewed from the front it isn't noticeable at all though. So I'll live with it. Other than the shoddy glue job, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Now I'm off to reread my Sandman TPBs.

Yes the Bombshells line is way better. I want to get the Supergirl but the costume is not great. I just don't like the 52 costume.

Batwoman looks AMAZING!!!!! :panic:

I will only be getting Supergirl, and Power Girl whenever she's announced.

If by some unexpected miracle they also released Lois Lane, I'd get her too.

I'm not liking this new version of Cover Girls very much... it's TOO Bat-centric. Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bagirl, Huntress, Batwoman... hopefully they burn through all the bat-ladies soon, so they'll start focusing of women from outside the bat-verse.

Apparently they're re-doing Poison Ivy to match the new Cover Girls line (with the bases). That may mean they'll release Harley and Catwoman again too.

"The DC Cover Girls Huntress was also on display and she looks fantastic. She's currently not available for pre-order, but she's slated for a March 2014 release. A placard on display also lists a DC Cover Girls Poison Ivy statue as coming out in June 2014 which I find confusing as we just got a New 52 Poison Ivy statue last year."

More pics of Batwoman and Huntress!

How do you know that the reason for re-releasing Ivy is the base? Where do they say it?

This REALLY pisses me off! They were supposedly going to finish the bat-ladies with Batwoman and Huntress, and now instead of releasing new characters, they are going to make a new version of an already released one?

SO LAME!!!!

If they're going to re-release a character, at least have it be Wonder Woman, who's supposed to be DC's top heroine. It'd make a lot more sense than Ivy, who feels completely random, and unnecessary.

They didn't say it, but that's my guess.

The first four they put out for the New 52 don't match the latest ones.

I assume they want a more cohesive line... but I would have preferred to see Black Canary or Zatanna next...

Exactly! Agreed! :exactly: That's the reason of my frustration. There are characters in the New 52 that became popular and important, that weren't in the Pre-Flashpoint universe.

One of them is Madame Xanadu, who co-stars in TWO books: "Demon Knights", and "Justice League Dark". I bet that even she has fans that'd love a statue of hers.

Another one would be Mera, who due to the success of "Aquaman" and her role in that series, became a fan-favorite very quickly after the relaunch.

And how about Pandora, who's a very new character from DC, that's having a key role in that "Trinity War" saga, whose series was just launched? She could really use the promotion and push of already having more merchandising of hers, besides the action figure announced for 2014. DC should be promoting her a lot!

But, yeah... there are lots of characters that need to be done before they start re-releasing older ones.
