I'm not sure they need it if they are going to take such extensive liberties with some of these guys. Might as well establish their own "Fictional Commandos" line and save themselves the royalties they have to pay Hasbro.

I've had no problems with updating gear etc., many of the 3.75s have done the same, but when they start going out of their way to put their "stamp" on it, then why pay for the RAH license?

Although I feel this is just misplaced for me to write this as I am very happy with V.2 Stormshadow, so glad he wasn't just a rehash of the first, but an actual progression.

SS still owns the GI Joe Market. Hot Toys has a little-desired license (GI Joe: Retaliation), and Sideshow has ARAH. That being the case, whether for good or bad...there is no actual "head-to-head" competition.

Oh...and let's not forget that there some of us who prefer Sideshow over Hot Toys so there's that, too.

Good point, the movie series is a joke. I have many SS Joe's so don't get me wrong...

Let me ask you this... do you think the SS ARAH Joes are worth HT prices?

I paid under a hundred for most of my cobras and a little over a hundred for Duke, beachhead, Hawk, black dude forgot his name...

Anyways I could never affored the original snake eyes and storm shadow so I'm glad either way to get them now!
