The game makes Resurrection look like The Shawshank Redemption. Worst video game ever made in my opinion. And I don't play that many games.

No that would be ET on the Atari 2600 lol

I'm playing the game on line... coop is kinda fun... the game could be better but I don't hate it, I enjoy it. It's the only game I play though other than the older alien, predator and terminator games. I do like mass effect though.

All my Alien and predator stuff is piled up at BBTS... I think I'll even wait for the 2 packs before getting them shipped.

I would like to just take a moment on the off chance a Neca company researcher patrols these boards (in all honesty, if they don't, they should).

ahem. (quote me)

Marine helmets are NOT f'n predator masks. They are not a 'variation' to exploit to all ends. The 3 versions of predators that have done you so well (masked, open mouthed, closed mouth) will NOT work with marines. You are pissing off more people than you are convincing.

Please listen to me on this. Every post with a '*****' about a lack of helmet'. Every post about people 'waiting' until the two packs. Every post citing how the current releases do not match ANY scene are signs of this that will not get better. You risk people losing interest. The marines are NOT the predators that people will buy 3 versions of. Any chance of one person buying multiple figures for customized efforts DIED the minute you decided not to issue a helmet (that is pretty freaking important).

You have all the recycled parts you could ever ask for in the armor and lower extremities. To push your luck and force variation in the heads is inviting outrage. A marine with a helmet WILL result in multiple purchases of the SAME FIGURE because of the possibility of customization.

Please reconsider your stance on your variations and just make the f'n helmets.

Sincerely,
Terran Roberts.

are the 2 pack versions of hicks and Hudson coming with helmets? I was under the impression that they would be?!?

The helmet versions are coming, not sure why some people are having a cry about it. lol

If all you want is a single helmeted Hicks and Hudson, then yes they are coming. You guys who only want 2 figures should be just fine.

If anyone wants to make any accurate custom marines, then your faced with spending $35 each for a helmet in those 2 packs.

This business where they say the new series 2 marine would not have a helmet either is the ridiculousness that tipped me over the edge. That means more $35 2-packs to get an accessory that should be standard.

Call it 'crying' if you want. I still say it aint cool.

I agree. It is pretty ridiculous on NECA's Part.

Like I said before. Why Even make guns for figures anymore? Why bother?
Imagine all the money they could make by releasing things like Guns, Skulls, accessories etc... things like that.

It's like, they might as well start releasing figures without any accessories now and release the accessories in two packs later.

How Hard can adding a helmet on a figure be? how much more money is a helmet worth? That crap should have been included in the first release.

like bigbisont said, Marines are NOT Predators.....

the new video game is a poor effort, no question.
Eh, it depends on what you ask of it. I laid down my cash to strap on M3 personal armour and perforate xenomorphs with a pulse rifle, and I got exactly that, with the added bonus of certain (though unfortunately, not all) of the more ill-advised elements of Alien 3 being retconned.

I'd really love to see NECA take on the Weyland-Yutani mercs though. They'd make perfect stand-ins for UPP troops for the USCM figures to fight, plus the game designs are largely modular, requiring few pieces beyond a new head, some slightly different paint and a few additional pouches/armour plates to make a new class/character, something I'm sure that NECA *hint, hint* would love:

However, Alien: "Insurrection" is a complete and utter abomination...a travesty. Alien: "insurrection" is, by far, the worst utterance from the Alien franchise/property to have ever come to fruition.
I think you mean "Resurrection", but agreed.

I saw these finally at TRU, and I was kind of disappointed. I'm going to wait for the helmeted versions

Didn't see the alien, I guess that's worth getting.

Sculpted an egg in scale to the marines. Will be hollow latex with wire built into the openings do they can be posed.

PM if your interested.

Nice, that would be cool to see NECA take on this project. I think it's a great idea. Aliens, Weyland-Yutani mercs, Marines and so on.

I don't know if I am alone but I would love a Alien 3 soldier/bodyguard/PMC.

I always though the design looked great personally.

That's one vote... :D

I've always thought it looked completely out of place, not so much in the Aliens universe in general, but in the specific time of the Sulaco's deployment to LV-426. The costumes just look too much like the Nostromo spacesuits from 50 years earlier, making the Alien 3 W-Y troops look rather like their time-line's equivalent of WWII re-enactors inexplicably armed with Gucci'd-up modern RIS-equipped assault rifles.
