That's not a base. That is the hydraulic jack the Batmobile deploys to make a 180 degree pivot in Batman Returns.

I know . Buts that's what there referring to as the display base .

Still no email from Sideshow. My final payment is due the 20th and shipping for me is $93.91, which puts my final payment just about $210. It would actually be much cheaper for me to drive up and pick it up.

I am close to doing the same. I have it on PO at BBTS and I'm running out of room as well. I had the Tumbler and sold it thinking this would be the better piece but now I've got so many other POs and little room for a huge vehicle so I'm content with the Batpod as my lone vehicle.

I totally see where you're coming from. I'm back and forth as you can see. My order is still open at bbts and I may just sell my BD IM to finance it. If I can find the room. I'm working on that part. It's just such an amazing piece and once it sells out I doubt it'll be easy to get one under $1000.

I'm just about to contact them regarding this. Nothing against intl buyers, but this is BS. 96 dollars to ship to utah but 80 to Canada, or Australia, etc.
