Yeah the peg was broken but I remember Jason saying something about using epoxy. I got Raiden for $145!

You're wrong about Old Snake, he isn't badly painted- he's barely painted at all. All they did was smack some lip color and painted the eye!

I have no idea how the sculpt ended up being so good yet they forgot to paint it. On the plus side though, anybody who paints their Old Snake will see major improvements right away since the sculpt is actually very close to the 3D model, I've checked.

Anybody has the Olive Drab? I wonder if it suffers the same issues as the regular Snake. Didn't this board start off with that rumor that the Olive Drab is better?

I had Olive Drab originally and I sold it like an idiot. I didn't notice anything different between that and Blue.

I got mine with Old Snake so in reality I got Raiden for 250$. This was 3 years ago mind you.

This is back when I wasn't sure of collecting. I honestly think it was the first 1:6 I've ever gotten. Croc Cap Naked Snake was my first 1:6 I kept and still have.

I bet that The Boss will become super-expensive, too. All of us trashed the figure, but going by what we've seen in the price increases of every MGS figure so far, it's only a matter of time before the same thing happens to The Boss.

It may end up being more sought out than Naked Snake for all we know.

Like with all of them, Snake will be in tip top shape or be riddled with QC issues.

Exactly that's why I'm not excited for it playing $3 to $400 for a good piece that's ruined by paint.

Well... I'm not sure if I will get it from them directly or from BBTS. I could get it through SSC and flex pay it and risk getting stuck with a lemon or another ****ty replacement or get it through BBTS and more than likely get a full refund.

I guess it would be worth the risk since I can't drop the kind of cash for a premium format at one time. Do they pay return shipping?

BBTS is awesome. I wish if I could use them more often. But, SSC's flex pay just makes things way more affordable for me.

That's a good prediction, Solidus! I think for that I should get her, that is after I get the DX10, and the DX08, and I was planing on getting the Sideshow 1/6 Lara Croft too.

If it's any consolation, I bought the Black PAK Raiden from the same seller for $122..

I hear ya. If BBTS has a payment plan option I think SSC would lose a nice amount of business since BBTS's CS is amazing. I never had an issue with a return or replacement.

Although with flex pay I was able to get the 1:4 Endoskeleton and there was no way I could of gotten it otherwise.
