I know she's a 10 on the T&A scale but nobody knows who she is and when other more well known "hot" chick statues come out she will be forgotten so I can pick her up later no problem. OOOOPS.

Not with the way Sideshow is releasing junk lately. Talon is one of the last perfectly done statues. Most of the T&A coming out these days have the paint done using feet, QA by blind people, and packing by monkeys.

IMHO the chances of finding this piece in mint condition for $600 is the equivalent of buying the winning Powerball ticket. Could it happen...sure. But what are the realistic chances of having someone only accept $600 for Darth Talon?

I realize you are simply trying to be positive...but let's try and avoid giving fellow collectors false hope.

Wow that is good. Was that genuine luck with a cheap BIN or auction on ebay (and was it poorly described) or a seller that didnt know the going rate/just being very nice?

I was lucky. It was offered on statueforum, in a post. He got spammed down, and I was 2nd in line, but first in line passed, and then I was a happy collector.

It was almost a give-away. He was aware of the going prices. Sometimes, you are surprised by human kindness!

Congrats...but IMHO finding Darth Talon at that price is the exception not the rule. As you admitted yourself...you were "lucky". If picking up Darth Talon for less than $600 was the norm...why would you consider yourself lucky?

My point earlier was about setting realistic expectations for fellow collectors hoping to pick up Darth Talon.
