my replacement body & skull shipped, hope ur arrive in perfect condition.

Oh yeah! I love it when the UPS man comes by. means another great statue! got my GG today! Gave him a detailed once over and I gotta say I'm very impressed. No paint problems, no chips, no sloppy glue globs all and all I got pretty darn lucky with this one.

The only complaint would be is with the right arm where it attaches to the body. The seam is kind of noticeable and there is a little of a gap when you look at it from the back. Not that big of a deal since its displayed in a cabinet and you'll never see it.

It's a great looking statue and I highly recommend it. Im sure with the low ES that in a few years it will be highly sought after and people will be kicking themselves for not getting it. Word of advice get it while you can, it won't last long and it definatly will go way up in value. If you like the Mythos line this is a must buy. When Fett and Vader release you will wish you did.

I think the seam is noticeable in all gammys, at first I thought only mine had it but looking at some pics I realized it´s a common flaw...:dunno

Alright I got my replacement today (332/750) finally and it's much better but I still have a few issues/questions. Let me know if the issues I'm finding are actually normal.

Base still has some paint issues

what do you guys think?

You're likely to never be happy with this piece. I'm not bashing you, I would just suggest you get a refund, ship him back, and forget about it.

There are no "perfect" pieces out there anymore, especially in the Mythos line. So you gotta take the good with the bad. Or drop the idea of owning the piece.

I'm really not trying to dis you. Many of those are nits, but I can understand you wanting it to be perfect too. For instance, the glob of paint between the toes is likely to be very possible on others. Maybe even mine...

I'm forced to agree with Fury. I'm in no way saying we should accept subpar quality, but remember that we tend to be a finicky bunch and almost no amount of CS is going to stand up to the scrutiny we put our pieces up against.

One tenth of the reason I'm backing away from collecting Sideshow...

The Maul and Boba may actually be my last two SS pieces. :(

If you're complaining about a microscopic black dot like that I don't think you'll ever be happy. Honestly, I'm not sure I can even see most of those issues in the pictures.

Sorry but I think u are a bit picky... dont forget its all hand painted

Broken teeth does suck... everything else I wouldn't even think of mentioning as a problem.

Just call it a growth on his toe and people have colored marks all over the place so just think of the black marks as some kind of skin condition. :)

I think the teeth are the only real grip. I wouldn't worry about the rest of the issues. Others would be hard pressed to see them.

Well let me be clear, none of those issues are deal breakers to me and this replacement is much better than my first one.
i'd be satisfied with partial refund most likely but was trying to get your feedback. I actually thought the chipped tooth on EX head was normal cause it looks painted over.

I dont think you are being too picky its an expensive piece and yhe blaxk dots and broken teeth would not be makomg me feel good about it......

In saying this I am awaiting my replacment statue and am anxious about the issues I could encounter apon its arrival.....

Its been a long time getting the replacement organised and I wouldn't want too have to go through it again

Replacement Pig arrived today everything looks great except the EX head doesn't sit as flush as the last one...... Undecided what I will do about it it???? Ask for another EX head, Ask for a partial refund?

All in all I am 95% happy with the replacement especially considering some of the issues other have had with their replacements

I actually think the paint app on the replacement is much more detailed than the original and also the pig seems to be a shade or two darker which makes him look even more menacing

I will take some pics of the EX head not sitting as flush as the 1st one I got and see what you guys think.... Perhaps I am being too picky????? Perhaps not tho, I mean the head will wobble if touched
