Actually looking at this more I kind of like it. But I might prefer the original version. I don't like the realistic art of him but if Jim lee or the image guys draws him I would like it alot.

Ah got it! Ok to set the record straight once and for all. I like rob liefelds artwork and his master creation cable and whatever x force characters he did. But he's not my favorite. Jim lee, silvestri, and McFarlane still takes the top
I used to hate McFarlane when he was drawing until not that long ago I went back to look at his artwork and said wow! It was so awesome! But as for shazam I barely know him. I remember seeing him somewhere way back. I most likely won't buy any PF of him. Unless it based on those image big boys artwork.

If I had to choose between the new 52 CM and Byrne's CM,I'd go with the new 52 one.But the best one (imo) is Alex Ross's CM.

Until Side Show makes a Captain Marvel Premium Format, at least I have my custom Captain Marvel 1/4 scale statue:

You never know. A lot of people are fans of Captain Marvel probably because of his New 52 incarnation. It gets a lot of slack here, but in actuality it's the best part of the New 52 Justice League run (also the only decent part). As far as picking the cloak over the cape, I might depending on how it turns out. I wouldn't actually put the hood on his head though I would just leave it hanging. Having a huge heavy cape can be fun sometimes.
