re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I know I'm sticking my shoe in my mouth when I mention PT, but anyone know how much Temuera Morrison costs for Autograpghs? Need a couple of things signed if I ever get to a damn con or C7.

I would guess the usual $20-30.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I refuse to pay it. I got his autograph for free on a theater program in New York. That will suffice. Maybe I'd pay $125 for Harrison Ford, but not for Hamill...

Hammill, definitely not. $50-75 TOPS.

Ford, I don't even want to think of what I would pay. It would be a lot, especially if it was an in-person signing and not just a pre-signed item.

My future wife! :monkey1

My best wishes to you both!

Thanks! FYI, she's the monkey, and that's my banana. :monkey1 :monkey3

Well then she looks terrified. Either it's a big banana or completely non consensual. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Or both... :monkey3

My legal and ethical councils have just advised me to back out of this conversation as I may incriminate myself.

Anyone still curious about Buck Rogers at Walmart, it's $12.96 per season.

Was I hallucinating, or did you guys manage to get two women to post in here? If you can get the other 6 female members to start posting here, we will have conquered the forum. Just sayin'.

If you'll notice, they haven't returned. :lol

At least Flosi keeps coming back. :lol

You have to give them a lot of attention if you want them to stick around. Maybe we should change the name of the cantina to GrueSam's...

lol

Yes you did, Fury, and I gotta say that I like it in here. It feels the way the board used to...
:grouphug

Glad you joined us Sam

You did go overboard though, and you went with a lot of big names too, and those take a huge investment of time. I only did two big names at CV, and let the numbers get ahead of mine, so I could time the line to about an hour at most. The experience can also be enhanced by the people around you in line. For the Carrie line, I was next to a Boush cosplayer, and she was the most delightful person. Other lines have not been as fun. So there's that...

But now he is done with a lot of them and can enjoy cons more going forward.

I had a lot of fun with Gibby when we got Warwicks. So it is fun if you have one or maybe two big ones to hit, but too many is a downer.

I need the first 12 carded. :panic:

Yeah if I get any those would be the ones I want and I would be happy.

If there's anything I've learned from this thread, it's that furystorm's obsessions move lightning fast.

Trevas => Mythos => AFA =< Oh MY !

Hammil will not be that low again for a very long time if ever.

Speaking of Warwick, I was pleasantly surprised to see him guest star on Saturday's Doctor Who! He was the main guest star, and actually saved the day! Well done, Warwick! :clap
I never watched his recent TV series. I still want to. He also starred on Season 3 of An Idiot Abroad, which I also plan on watching...

I hope to see Return of the Ewok released on DVD. It was such a great movie he made! And the only time we get to hear David Prowse as Darth Vader...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Sup, fawkers.

Had a Garage Sale over the weekend... I sold about 200 carded SW figures. :rock All that Power of the Force mid-90's crap, Episode 1, etc. It fells so damn good to be parted from it all. I've been dragging it all around like an unwanted anchor for 15 years. Some I let go of for less than a buck each.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Makes you wonder how much we blew on modern Hasbro. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I've given away hundreds in the past year too. We used them as party favors for my son's last birthday. So a kid would get R2 and 3PO, Han and Chewie, Luke and Leia, Luke and Vader, Han and Boba Fett, Etc, Etc.... My son opened all he wanted too of course. Just happy as all hell to be done with it.

But yeah, 4.99 each way back then, 5.40 with tax at the time. :(
