These look way better than the PP04 designs, the Classics mold and the ArtFeather reshell as they've got the Penny Racer proportions of the G1 toys down almost perfectly and the robot modes are virtually kibble free.

These molds will be great money spinners for iGear as they can do,

Bumblebee ( G1, red, G2 gold chrome, Glyph, Bugbite. )
Cliffjumper ( G1, yellow )
Hubcap ( Slightly retooled CJ body with new headsculpt. )
Bumper ( Would need a new car shell and new headsculpt. )

As for the others,

Powerglide = Nice but not an essential purchase for me.

Wheelie = I don't dislike the character but this version isn't really doing it for me.

My info is a few months old but I was told Megatron V2 is done and ready to go.

With the info that's emerged regarding Galvatron it appears plans have changed and he now won't be MP20....it's likely that Takara decided to hold him up until the 30th Anniversary next year.

Finally picked up MP10 over the weekend and I'm seriously blown away. Transformers used to be my big collector items, but since the crappy quality of DOTM stuff and the disappearance of any Universe/Generations from UK stores I kind of moved away from them.

I think I'll stick to Masterpiece stuff now, just need to wait for Soundwave to show up in the UK. Not sure if Sideswipe will make and appearance or not.

Hate to say it (Corsair, I'm mainly talking to you, bud! ), but I think I might end up selling my Faith Leader, now. I still like the mold but he just doesn't fit with the rest of my MPs anymore, other than Grimlock. I'm keeping my 20th Anniversary version, though - probably enough Primes for me, now.

It's actually a pretty smart move... I bet a lot of people would have been happy with an MP Megatron in their collections, and happily passed on Galvatron. Now, with no Decepticon leader available, they might be more likely to pick him up than they would have been otherwise...

To be honest I've also considered selling mine as it'd probably raise a nice chunk of cash towards one of the other Hot Toys Iron Man armors from the new movie.

Decided to cancel my encore Fort Max PO due to the claims of cheap plastic, sticker issues, missing accessories, and stress mark issues. I just can't justify paying roughly $350 for a figure with so any issues!

I haven't read up or heard of any QC issues as of yet other than the off centered stickers. But reprolabels could probably take care of that. As for stress marks and cheap plastic, the only issue I had on my G1 was the tab on Fort Max's head when transforming it to Cerebros. Other than that, he's pretty much as solid as a brick.

It's likely that an official announcement for MP20 as well as the first public showing of the Nissans will be at the next major Japanese toy show in June.

So not too long to wait!

I was asking that same question. Captured prey just listed preorders for the presumably final batch of Quakewaves ever to be released. I preordered, I'm not sure i takara will ever get to do him. And prices on this piece (before third batch was announced) were going through the roof on eBay already.

With speculation that the next MP's UM, Galvatron and Megs V2, I don't think they will and even if they do, It doesnt seem to be anytime soon. Just get Quakewave already and slap a Decepticon sticker on him and it'll be all you'll really need. I'd say enjoy him now and worry about an official one if its ever announced.

Buy QuakeWave. It's f'ing awesome!

Takara's inability to reissue the G1 toy probably won't affect their ability to make a Masterpiece and they've already got the license to the name back as the most recent toy of the character ( in the FoC line ) was called Shockwave as opposed to Shockblast.

Having said that an official MP Shockwave is unlikely for at least a couple of years as the following are apparently in various stages of development,

Megatron V2
Galvatron
Ultra Magnus
Sunstreaker
Mirage
Hound

Also likely are,

Soundblaster repaint of MP13 with Ratbat
eHobby variant of Bluestreak ( G1 toy or Diaclone color scheme. )
