So Laker fans, what's your thoughts on if the Lakers should amnesty Kobe? He's gonna retire next season (IF he can come back) and between his salary and luxury tax, Lakers can supposedly save $80 million dollars next season. His $30 million base salary could sign some mighty fine free agents.

Bottom line, do you wanna win or do you value loyalty?

In reality the Amnesty would do nothing and it would be a PR nightmare for the Lakers so they shouldn't even think about it, but Jim Buss really knows how to piss in the face of the fans so who knows.

I hear he'll be back for the season starter. With that said, no to the amnesty, remain loyal, year after that get some of those free agents (LeBron)

We had no back up small forward. Since you guys all think this is such a bad move on the Spurs part who that could be signed would of been a better choice?

The Knicks signed Quentin Richardson, its a lock now...(sarcasm)

How does this team now have on its roster at one point THIS YEAR Kurt Thomas, Marcus Camby, Rasheed Wallace, Kenyon Martin, Jason Kidd and now Q??

Spurs should sign Kobe next year after Lakers amnesty him and let him back up Kawhi. Then he chase after his precious magical ring 6 to tie almighty MJ...

Thoughts on the Rockets/Lakers game tonight? I'm not at all sure that the Lakers can slow down the Rockets enough to win, especially with the Rockets' high number of three-point shots and the Lakers' weak perimeter defense.

That said, I can't imagine that Utah will beat Memphis, so the Lakers take the 8 seed anyway.

We win tonight and we get the 7th seed. How crazy is that considering the season we've had this year. This is going to be a very interesting game tonight.

we're at home and playing well.. we should take it. we need to keep them sub 90 and slow the game.

we need the 7. friendlier bracket and would be fun to *****slap the spurs who were trying to avoid us. okc would run us over.
