...and the chance of you seeing ALL the previous Marks in diecast are probably slim to none. Particularly the MII & MV

When Hot Toys announced the new Diecast MMS line they specifically mentioned it would cover all three IM movies so I see no reason why they wouldn't go back and do the previous suits in this new line especially if it meant more cash for them.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I know it takes time to produce a figura like this one, not complaining on that, I meant to say that from the collector feeling point of view, I'm usually very impatient when waiting for a figure I want so bad, come on, be honest, all of us feel the same way :)

But I really hope the decide to release all previous suits in diecast  I really want my hall of armor.

They have other figures coming out I assume. And why does it matter if it's a year from now? If they had it for November this year, it would be delayed til next year anyway, saves us the hassle of going through delays and hopefully this is them just giving us a far away date instead of delaying the figure constantly.

Simple, what I just posted. They have 15 Iron Man 3 figures planed + figures from other license. I get this is a cash cow for them but in order for them to release it all, it will go past 2017. Also, they said all 3 movies, meaning:

Iron Man 1: Mark 3 Diecast
Iron Man 2: Iron Whiplash
Iron Man 3: The obvious suits
Avengers: Mark VII

At least the HoA comes out in May. Already got the suits to fill it in.

But I understand what you mean, it's a pain to wait and it's even worse because Hot Toys has the worse track record for releasing figures on time.

Lucky you :) I know I will go crazy when all people start posting pics of their HoA with all the suits :panic:

You could be right. They might pick and choose which figure(s) to do from each movie. I want a MK 1 suit for sure from IM so maybe I should go after Version 2.0 that is already released instead of waiting on the diecast version that may never be produced.

So which is the most expensive figure from all previous suits? not including the variants like the gun metal.

Mark IV? or Mark VI?

Mark VI. It's going for $400-$600 right now while you can grab the Mark IV for around $300-$375.

And if they announced 7 diecast armors all at once ( which of course they never would ) how many collectors can by more than 2 at a time at $300+ each?

:exactly: Which is why they aren't going to rerelease the past suits aside from the Mark 3 and 7. They got enough on their plate and these aren't even cheap.

You really need to check out the Custom section, you would be amazed by the amount of money some freaks spend on custom figures, I was tallking with my wife about this the other day and my only resolution is that they have to be rich :)

Spartacus-speak. Translation: Its a pity no other license either A) gets that many figures unless over a course of years and years or B) even gets an announcement such as that from HT (that you can trust)
Stopped watching after the first season. :lol

And yes it is, even as a Iron Man fan it's getting to the point where I just want to see figures from other licenses as well.

They need to really mix it up a bit.

looking at the proto pics and the convention pics looks like the gap in the abdomen is already smaller and not as noticeable

I've always been baffled how someone could customize a $200 collectible. But if that's what they like, more power to them.

But I bet if HT were to release 5 armors at the same time, there'd be nothing but

HOW CAN THEY EXPECT ME TO SPEND $1500 ALL AT ONCE. THEY SHOULD HAVE SPREAD THEM OUT OVER A YEAR.

Which ironically both are IMO the ideal marks well suited for the die-cast treatment.

And just think, once they finally conclude with getting through IM3 we still have another Avengers film on the
horizon, which in turn will shift HT's focus from IM and back to Avengers.
