Just had to go over to SS site. They have at least one photo dedicated just to the hilt. Also it's listed by itself in the list of features / assessories ?

Seems like a pretty big oversite in the QC department, especially when you look at the cost of these pieces. While its would not be a deal breaker I hate it when things under perform to expectations.

Yes, there is a pic dedicated to Obi's light saber hilt shown on the site but it is not mentioned in the description or list of accessories that come with the piece.

I am still at a loss as to why it is missing. They could have used a magnet to make it removable when using the saber hand. Hopefully we will get an explanation from Sideshow on this.

Oh boy. This sucks. They're gonna pull the old prototype versus production excuse on all of us again. I don't appreciate having the first (my first) Mythos marred with this kind of oversight...

My hope is that they will mail the hilt separately to each and every owner. It isn't the first time they forgot to include something with the box (tuskien pf exclusive).

I hope you are right ambasah but how would it attach to the piece? I don't see a place to attach it on the few pics we have seen so far unless there is a hidden magnet or something.

If I was getting this I think I would be displaying it with the Saber in hand anyways. But it sucks that they may have left this out. The paint apps to the face look great!

The paint apps look really good, the amount of detail looks fantastic!

As for the missing saber hilt...It doesn't bother me at all. To me it's not some unforgivable crime against humanity and there's no need to go all drama queen over it. But that's just me.

Anyway...I can't wait for Thursday!

Man that's like a kick in my square *****.
I don't like the lightsabers on my statues, I can't stand seeing a good polystone sculpted figure with a plastic tiny POS in his hands, seriously. Best way is with just the hilt in hands - or the hilt strapped to his belt. Was this a cheaper statue I wouldn't mind, but being a 350$ statue I'd like to have what I see in the pics.

I called customer service and I spoke to a rep that hadn't heard from anyone or knew anything about this. She said she couldn't reach anyone to ask, but will call me back.

She did say they would refund shipping costs if I choose to return it.

I really don't know what to do, I want this but I do not want to display it with a lit saber. Sabers are for fights, they are not walking sticks....

The missing hilt is pretty annoying to me since I wasn't planning to display him with saber in hand. But I still have hope that SSC will send us the missing piece separately.

What concerns me a bit more is the leaning we see in that one pic. I hope it's just the angle. I hope we see a bunch of new pics today.

I hate the missing light saber, sideshow should do something about if it's true. This considered as missing part & at least partial refund is required.
In the other hand, The statue looks so awesome & no leaning pose in the pics below (from one collector/seller in instagram) I asked him to post more pics & confirm if it's indeed missing.

I didn't think of that. I actually don't like the ignited saber at all...it looks too small to me, so I may just glue the damn thing on, if in fact it was a factory mistake to not include it.

It's their standard response. Either get like 30 bucks off or return for a refund. Those are the only two options no amount of complain will change it once the statue is post production. So have to decide.

Actually I think we do know its a problem. Of everyone on the Internet that has posted they have it, or put up pics, all of them report there s no unlit hilt. I'm not just referring to this forum.

According to the collector who posted the pics on Rebelscum, there is a hook for the hilt on Obi-Wan's belt so all we would need, it appears, is the hilt itself. That should be easy for Sideshow to rectify.
