I watched the last two episodes last night. I realized why I stopped watching this show and would pick and choose episodes to watch. For all the good episodes, they still manage to sneak in garbage from the prequels. The twist with Barriss wasn't handled well. They probably should have made a new character for this story or built up a character through the seasons. Her reasoning is off the wall. Especially if you've seen the character in past stories, books, and comics. Which show no continuity by the way. I wonder who's managing this stuff because they aren't doing their job at all. Obi-Wan would be far more likely to be like Barriss in these episodes considering his master was Qui-Gon. They could have made Aayla Secura be the traitor. It's just crazy. I know this is a cartoon for kids but the twist was obvious too. Also, just about all the Jedi are against Ahsoka accept Anakin. Even Yoda. They continue to make the Jedi look stupid. Ahsoka wasn't even on planet when the explosion at the Jedi Temple happened.

I did like the ending and the change of music. I wish they would let the Ahsoka character line stop here. But I know they won't be able to resist ruining the character and telling more "stories" with her.

You need to watch the CW epsiode "ARC Troopers"; the entire episode revolves around a Separatist invasion of Kamino! It also features the first meeting between Grievous and Ventress and shows her rather stylishly dispatching an ARC Trooper from Rancor Battalion.

As for the fate of the CW: I'm saddened, but I know Disney wants to usher in a new era (quite literally) of Star Wars. I wonder how much "bonus material" there is? Likely less than a full season's worth, but more than the "window dressing" that's been suggested. There are several characters and story lines that need some resolution - I can think of a good half dozen just off the top of my head, and Filoni does make mentions of story arcS (with an 's') that will be released. Cripes, we still have Maul running around at this point. For the CW to be wrapped up in a satisfactory way, they really need to address: Ventress (Mother Talzin?), Bo Katan, Mandalore Civil War, Maul, Cad Bane, Young Boba Fett, Rex, Order 66, and the ultimate fate of Ahsoka (and those are just the bigger things they had going, smaller arcs will be left to the imagination, I suppose). I'd be happy if they streamed these on the Star Wars site and made them available on DVD/Blu Ray - that's how I watched the series, anyway! :)

I did watch it but i guess I forgot. I have the ****tiest memory.

BTW, how's your R2 project going? :hi5:

Very, very, very slowly. I did just receive aluminum side vents today from the most recent run. Not that I needed them. I'm supposed to be focusing on dome work only. But I could not resist these. I'm about to open them.

I'm hoping to have more time for that dome work once school is finished in a couple of months...

Don't tell him that. Now, I gotta spend all comic-con giving him grief to make sure things balance out. :lol:nana:

Gonna copy and paste something one of my buddies said on a different board (yeah, I see other boards. What?). Just another nail in the coffin.

Unlike many of you, I do not have an "Inside Source". I do follow James Arnold Taylor on Facebook though and he said he got a call last Friday from Filoni telling him the show was "cancelled". He posted a long blog and seemed really bummed by it. So I do not believe there will be anything beyond what has been completed. It seems that the talent has been released.

Yeah, why not? They did it to Genndy Tartakovsky, too. And he's a much bigger player in the animation world.

Little OT, but I watched Hotel Transylvania last night which was directed by Tartakovsky. That is a REALLY good movie. Highly recommended to kids, adults and families. Just really good all around.

I saw on Sam Witwers twitter also that the show was canceled.

Is it worth picking up from the beginning and watching or not so much?

I just started watching it a couple of months ago (I have gotten as far as season 4 so far) and by all accounts, the season 5 finale is a pretty good wrap-up point anyway. So I would say "yes". It's worth it.

There are some extremely boring story arcs but those aside it's worth watching. They do some fun things and have some great throwbacks to Kenner figures and things like that.

:dunno Who did what to Genndy?

He stayed with Cartoon Network until he made his move to Sony, I thought it was an amicable split. He was talking about working on a Samurai Jack feature which I assume would be under CN's control.

I think its basically Episodes for kids and then Episodes for adults. So each season has the good and bad.

Five seasons is getting a bit much for the time period. Would like to see the show start freash. Maybe re-launch with the original characters. Maybe a time frame between Empire and Jedi.

I still haven't seen the Clone Wars movie. But I'm going to get the show when they release it complete and it's cheap. It's far better than the prequels. Episodes are watchable multiple times. Unlike the prequels where I only want to watch scenes like TPM Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul or AotC Obi-Wan vs Jango Fett. Anakin is handled a lot better too. But like I said in my small review of the last few episodes, junk from the prequels manages to get into the show. Many episodes are not worth watching. I know I passed on many older episodes when I was watching the show regularly.

Ha! what did that guy take up... like 4 episodes.

The clone episode (forgot the name) was cool.. that guy would make a great clone figure!
