There was a break down on the other forum about how Tyler Stout gets a bunch from the run to sell for himself. So it's not really 700 (if Drive is around that edition size) that will be available.

I think if that Universal Monsters and The Thing release was crazy this one will be even worse with flippers and stuff. Camping out on the sidewalk for a poster is crazy. It reminds me of when people camped out for Star Wars Episode 1.

Still doing it. :lecture

I'm never going to sleep in line to get anything

Yeah that's usually how I feel. There are few things so rare that I would need to do something like that. And then I would hope the seller is courteous enough to just sell it to me without going through all this stuff.

Still doing it. :lecture

I don't think you guys did the "what properties do you want from Mondo" thing over here. Here is my list. If Mondo announced and previewed a handful of these then I would go. Wait outside almost a day? Still not sure...

My list of movies & TV shows wanted from Mondo. Some I'm just curious to see what some of the Mondo artists can come up with or another attempt in some cases. The list is not in order of preference.

- Halloween 1 & 3
- Doomsday
- Night of the Creeps
- Inception

- Underworld 1 & 2
- The Goonies
- Star Trek II - Martin Ansin should do this one.

Though speaking of Stout, to anyone that is going to the show, can you please see if they have this Patrice Oneal Benefit Show print:

I highly doubt it but it's worth a shot.

I got one of those. Variant. 95/100. Easiest (and only) Stout I've gotten.

Those are all sold out, sadly, unless there were prints held (doubtful).

I didn't find it about it until after it was sold out, sucks. And i think its really well done too. :(

Who else is going for the Stout Django lottery? Anyone want to throw their hat into the ring and I'll take it off their hands?

It looks like I lost the lotto like every other time I've entered. Bummer. I really wanted a Django poster.

So perhaps this is a bit of a moral dilemma, but I figure I'd be honest about it:

I had some friends on Facebook also enter the Stout Django lottery (Under their name and address, mind you). One of my friends won, and he scored a regular for me. He paid via his PayPal, will ship it to his house and all, and I covered him, sending cash to his PayPal as well as put in extra so he could ship it to me. I'm not reselling it, as it's going up in my apartment in a place of honor.

Is that considered dirty pool? Or is it only dirty pool if I went ahead and resold it?

Now that I'm thinking about it, what's to stop him from reselling it???? :)

Who cares. If your name is picked, you're free to do what you wish with it.

You should have seen how many Chueh SDCC prints I scored in 2010 by littering the pool. But it all worked out and I got the print I wanted. You do what you gotta do.
