Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

They made R2 too small.
It needed to be slightly taller and wider. :gah:

It's as if the two droids were designed by two different companies and with no coordination of the final results.
The two different bases indicates that as well.

These two should have been made to compliment each other.

Geez. I do want this figure, but I'm terrified of it falling over, and doing many $$$ damage on the way down.

Fingers crossed SS uses the molds to make a plastic one.

Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

Oh really? This doesn't stand well on it's own?

That is kinda going to mess up my plans for a joint display with R2 :(

He stand well on it own but after display him for a long time like weeks or months, because of his weight, he may fall .... I drop him once but luckily no damage :panic::panic::panic:

Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

I wouldn't worry about something that may happen. It's not like your gonna pose him in a one foot action pose, a balanced stance will be fine.

Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

Have there been any pics where they are closer? R2 is back from 3PO there, might be throwing it out height wise. R2 should come up to the mid of 3PO wires/stomach area.

I could have sworn there's a couple pics out there, but I couldn't find them again. I remember it was the first glaring issue I noticed when I saw them together... that R2 was too small compared to 3PO. :(

For most people yes nothing will happen but for people like me who live near an airport and a USAF base under the aproach path of both so not using the stand is just waiting for the day when he finally tips pver and kills me falling off a shelf lol.

This is already gonna be a badass, but to be the ULTIMATE BADASS, they gotta find a way to make the little squares shimmer and the red light change to blue! If Pillow Pets can do it, so can R2!!!:lecture

Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

The "eye" looks really weird and I can't stand the shiny dome. Hope they can figure out something to fix those 2 issues on R2.

That's a very rough proto as far as I know, the version of 3po that was on display at the same time was also very poor. It hardly looked like the fial product. So here's hoping they do the same amount of improvements on this.

Re: <> Bandai Chogokin C-3PO - OMG Photo Review <>

This is indeed a work of art.
What an amazing figure... takes "museum quality" to a whole other level.
Congratulations to all who are getting this!
