I think I have seen ONE out of all the mods that looked like Bale in the cowl. let me see if i can find it right quick...

Here we go.

We should have gotten that.

Isn't that an unmodded DX12 with a stock mouthplate???!!!

But to be honest I have some minor meeehs with this figure too.

The stock mouthplates are so horribly bad!
And I think the accessoiries are not enough to justify a DX status and price tag.
The stand is nice to look at but the steps don't add anything to the figure posed on the stand.

But after all:
Was it wortg the money? Hell, yes!
It's a great figure and I think a major improvement over the DX02.

The UK dealer I pre ordered mine with said today that the wait is almost over.

Might attempt some minor mods i.e the gloves, the shoulder pads. I have an ilforigno cape coming so I reckon I will be pretty satisfied with him after that, If not I may get the GF to paint the eyelids.. as my shaky hands might make a mess

Yeah I am mate because when I asked Darren he didn't know when they were coming in, so I thought they would be like the DX12, taking their bloody time! Though a few have had their DX12's from OSB, they are just coming in batches, unfortunately I'm in the 3rd and final batch. I think the DX12 could be HT's biggest selling figure ever.

The wait is the worst. will be worth it when we all unbox our DX12's though I just hope the DX11 and Bane come in a bit quicker.

OSB seem to be the only UK seller to have them so far, ToyHQ just got their batpods in too so it seems they are all coming in to UK dealers slowly but surely.

I never used to be impatient but i think with the DX12 im more impatient coz i have the bat pod here waiting for him, something about owning vehicles that makes u more impatient for the figures lol I want selina next & that is gonna be some wait. the estimated release of these in the UK is the worst variation ive ever seen, some say march some say april then may then as late as june or july, It causes me to be wary of who i buy with or pre-order coz i dont wanna be the last to get this stuff haha & i'd never buy from SSC or chinese sellers on ebay

Are any of you guys gonna do the Mods on the DX12 that have been mentioned in the mods thread? I think i would do the eyelid mod if there is a lot of pink showing, I might also widen the tall part of the boots to fit snug in the shoe part as it looks bizarre when you compare before & after. Oh might get a new cape from tony i will only decide on all this when i have it in front of me to decide.

Definitely going to do some mate, I'm getting a tony meis cape and a medicom cowl by monkeyrobotmaster, I have Robbies faceplate too. I'm not sure if you have seen that combo, but it is the dark knight headsculpt I've always wanted. So the ht head will be left unmodified in the box. Then I may try to do something about the shoulder pads and the skinny ankles. The glove mod doesn't bother me as I want it to represent TDK as well as TDKR.

i was reading about a couple of the guys removing the fat bodysuit from underneath for better articulation. My only concern about that is i wonder if the suit ends up looking like a deflated balloon or something. due to the rubber armour creasing & being a tiny bit loose. & also i dont like the idea of cutting into the bat suit in case the cuts rip more or it frays

I don't think the suit looks like a deflated balloon at all after removal of the inner suit. The plastic and rubber ribs and pads help keep its shape.

To prevent fraying just seal the cut ends in fabric glue. I've taken the costume off my figure several times already, no further ripping or fraying. The black mesh cloth is very durable.
