From what I hear on this one, there's even more to be wowed by than the first T-800, but even that figure stirred up all that, and the Rambo does for me as well. Their size and price are a little inconvenient, but these HD figures really live up to their name, they are the Blu-Ray of figures where Hot Toys is like the DVD, with Sideshow being like VHS :lol

LOL well said :clap

I just placed my order! :panic:

I saw that www.toyhq.co.uk has a special offer at the moment, so I got him for €358,35 shipped (~$470). That's actually €60 less than I paid for my Enterbay Batman. And since it's coming from the UK there's guaranteed no customs fees, VAT or anything involved.
I actually went from being sure not to buy him to buying him in one day. :lol

Thanks for the link, yannick. I've never ordered from them before, actually I've never been on that site before. I'm tempted to order from there instead of eBay as I don't want to ship this back abroad if there is anything wrong with it. imagine the cost :horror

Plus I can lay down a deposit for the time being...

Can anymore members chip in with any info on toyhq, are they any good? Much appreciated!

No problem, Rob. They have a Facebook page that they update several times a day, they have threads here on the forum, and according to a search people here recently received the DX10 from them, and some people have the HT Bane from them on pre-order. All this of course doesn't necessarily mean that their service is good, but it does increase my confidence in them. :)

Ooohh now we are sucking diesel!!!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!

Sadly it's a dark day here in the UK so pics are terrible.

His right boot pops off rather easily and his left leg is longer, but that is an easy fix right? I remember some folks having that issue with the first T2.

It feels wrong going snow boarding on saturday and and I have a massive deadline tomorrow so have no time to absorb the awesomeness.

Cancel that holiday! Material possessions are more important!

Congrats on finally getting it. For most people the leg issue has been fixable, I don't have it on mine thankfully but I did have it on the original T-800 and I didn't quite manage to fix it I don't think. The problem on mine wasn't quite the same as other people's.

It's flippen torture having this thing sat behind me and not having time to get into it!
Even if what I currently working is Dredd!
(yes that is me name dropping).

Congrats on finally recieving the figure Eamon :clap by the way that T2 box looks huge! :thud:

Haha that Look inyour eyes and brows says it all eamon. I'm getting very close to buying this guy to go with my 1st t800

If your hesitation is because you are wary of buying more than one of the same character at this scale I would buy this one and sell the old one. This one looks more like Arnie despite half his face missing and with endoskeleton on show it overall is very evocative of Terminator.

Yup, they are big *** boxes but very secure I think.

I would agree with a-dev there in saying that this one is the better of the two.
I love the first one and will keep it for as long as I can but given the choice this is the one.

Can anybody tell me what i do about the leg? is it easy to pop in? EB only give you seven days to raise the issue.

You'd want to pull his trousers down to see exactly where on the leg isn't pushed up correctly. From there its probably a case of heating it up to be on the safe side and just manually forcing it....I think.

Ok cool! I will try that.

yeah he looks very much like arnie. my only reason is im trying to be a good boy and not spend too much lol

I wrestle with the same stuff. It's hard to justify that money for a toy but one thing I did was sell off all my 'other' figures. Some Marvel, NECA and Macfarlane stuff which made me feel a lot better. I still have more to go too.

I also sell on some Hot Toys if there is ever an 'upgrade'.

It's just buy these highend figures and Masters of the Universe classics for me. No more low rent stuff. Classyness all the ways now. :)

You will have something you can sell surely?!
