Edit: He also comes in 4 separate boxes. One contains the top half of his body, the head and his right hand. Box 2 his body from the waist down, Box 3 is the base and Box 4 is the cloak, and extended lightsabers. I was told the belt comes in the box with the robe but it's nowhere to be found. I don't see how they can screw something like that up.

So? Can't you hold a camera with one hand and pose your other hand? Was the multitasking too much of a strain?

secondly, there is no way I can flip my hand and hold and shoot this big camera at the same time.

I guess you don't have a properly functioning wrist then. I can pose my hand any way and move it around and it'll stay the same. Tripods are great for overcoming such anatomical shortcomings, too.

So of course its not going to look like the pic, because its not the same angle.

The angle is not an issue here. We all can visualize that.

Plus my fingers are puffy.

Again, so what? And your fingers aren't any puffier than the Darth Maul statue's.

In any case, the bottom line is it can be done, on a consistent basis by lots of dextrous people.

Maybe, but you're not one of those people. Heck, your wrist doesn't seem to be that big of a deal in the first place.

Keep practicing and maybe you'll make it.

No argument. I just objected to a generalized statement which aggravates the hell out of me when trying to compare real life to a statue of a fictional character.

You objected, alright, but failed miserably at proving your point and then offered the lamest excuses. And you know, I wouldn't mind to have a statue of The Exorcist's Regan with her head back to front. Any other character posed like that would upset me a little, though, but I guess you'd be fine with that, since it'd be a fictional character anyway.

Sorry but the comparaison is awful. The light of picture and many others parameters between the pics of the left and of the right are not the same.

I wait more pics like these wonderful pictures of computerfly for create a comparaison between the Darth Maul LSF and mythos statue that is relevant .
