I will be adding pictures when I finish her. The 1st picture
shows most of her. She doesn't have any boots on yet, because
I'm not done with them....

**** Lisbeth: coming to 1/6 life ****

Well, I've started in on GWTDT Lisbeth figure using
bbkills awesome sculpt and having Ski paint this one.

Here she is so far, let me know what you think.

Still have a long way to go, but she's coming together
nicely. Still working on making the leather boots, faded black
undershirt, leather backpack and a bunch of other accessories which will eventually
include her moto.

I love working on her

Some of the outfits people have used have been a bit piffy and ill fittibg but this one looks great. But I find it hard to tell 100% without a straight on shot. But no worries I can wait

I think this formula should work fine for the outfit.
Only issue is the pony tale if you want to put her hoody up
or put on a motorcycle helmet it doesnt fair well.

See the hoody fitting here isnt as tight as it could be because
the pony tail doesnt allow it to sit correctly.

I may just have to make the pony tail lay almost flat
so it would work better with hoody and Moto Helmet.

Here's an update on Lisbeth with full body shots(for you know who,lol).

Found some great reference shots of her boots on set.



Here is the first test version of the boots.
I like them, but will be trying a few more, because
I know I can do better. She's got the duck tape around
one and straps wrapped around the boots on both.
If you blow up the second reference picture, you can
see more of what I'm talking about

I think she looks great, Ike! Sweet weathering job, on her pants and boots especially.

I hadn't noticed the zip on the inside of her boots before. I'm not sure whether to try and simulate that on my figure.

ike-con has a done more than one fig for me, and i have to be honest...in hand they are 100 times better!!! easily one of the top customizers on here,,, his weathering is the best....and attention to detail is amazing,,,,i seriuosly suggest picking up one of his "book of eli" figs...or the dragon slayor/// yep i have all of them.......

Yeah, I noticed that too. Going to try to mimic it with paint
and see how it turns out.

Both movies have their good & bad points, but both are worth
seeing for sure. Just for the different take on the Lisbeth character was enough for me to see both.

Thanks for the kudo's. I try to improve with each figure and
always prefer realistic over non. So I'm a stickler for details and a reference hound.
I love that part of the process as much as bringing what I find to the figure.

Agreed. He seems to be much more of a real person in this.
Bond can get mono-tone and one dimensional character wise.

the skin tone perfectly to the body and bringing the sculpt to life

Also, while doing research on what golf club she used and a few other items
I wanted as accessories, I came across some
interseting details on some other things.

Things like these make it hard to make 1 definitive version of Lisbeth.

1) I noticed she collected Martins tooth or teeth and
added them to her razor blade necklace. You can see it the
morning after she saves Mikael. But as a mistake, she had
it on in the very start of the film in the board room(just in one shot).
You'll notice very quickly, it dissapears again. It obviously wasn't suppose to show up until the end after
she wacks Martin with the golf club.

2) Towards the end, she's wearing different boots then she had on
just scenes before. Biker boots with 3 buckled straps on each side.
I'll need to go through the film again to see if there is more.

3) She wears 3 different leather jackets in the film that differ
slightly in style, even though they all looked simular.

4) She wears leather biker pants, faded black military style pants and black jeans, all with different belts...damn her.

5) To blow the whole Apple computer theme they had
going the entire film, she used a Sony Vaio for the outside
camera feed and playback.

6) She used a White Mac Book pro and a Silver.

7) She had 2 different backpacks. One looked leather and one black canvas.

Some of these things only appear for seconds. But
I find it interesting when they make it past the editors.

Hmmm, maybe I should become a film editor...

Yeah, the bike is no small project for sure. That will take longer
to make than the figure did.

I'm still playing with several boot designs. I will try them
out before I decide on which one's I like best.
When I get them finished, I'll post some pics for sure.
Just mad I didnt see the other boot styles she wore until going
through the film 3 times and freeze framing them..

But hey, the golf club is real metal..
