Don't worry, people are gonna get sick of seeing it. Every figure I get will be photographed in it because, well its better than seeing my $h!tty shelves or my carpet and wallpaper.

It gets buried with me

I love pic 2 with Arnie steppin out of the elevator, but you did an excellent job with the shadows on the profile pic. It hides the neck joint pretty good and definitely looks like Arnold. The crooked glasses to match your profile was a nice touch too. :wink1:

Thanks. These were a few outtakes that I thought stood out amongst hundreds of pics I took for that Pescadero series. I think they show that the lines of Arnie's then 40-something years are there. Its the overall lack of skin-texture compared to the MMS figure that makes him look more youthful in spite of the lines.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I was looking through my shots of the DX10 and came across this pic from when I first received it. I think due to the natural light and angle, it seemed to bring out the age lines that usually aren't picked up on camera:

People that think this looks "too young" need to maybe watch the movie for the first time.

You did a great job showcasing the dx10 a-dev, I tried and failed to capture those crows feet on the sculpt. People will like what they will dispite all efforts to show them other wise, and there not wrong ether, no one is wrong in an opinion. I for one like both figures, there both well made high end figures that display beautfully on a shelf.

Everyones got there favorate, mine is nether of these its the mms136 but thats not to say these are not great, just my preferance. As for the enterbay t-800 thats another story for another thread.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I saw one of these in person today. Better looking than a lot of photos make out, but still not the greatest head sculpt likeness, in my opinion.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

In reference to the "you shouldn't take pics with your phone" comment, I want to mention that all my pics were taken with my phone. I think they turned out just fine and represent what you see in hand.

As a fellow amateur my 2 cents is you want a camera that has a 'macro' setting, especially on really closeup shots. Ideally with a tripod to keep it steady otherwise you're relying on the steadiness of your arms - which is tough if you're also holding up a torch off to the side. The slightest movement causes a blur, rendering the macro-setting moot.

Yeah that was a good shot on the previous page.

:lol :exactly: Just watched T2 last night on Blu Ray. The sculpt is right on and the details don't show up on the pics very well. In hand the age of the hs is just fine. I would agree with a-dev about the paint, but this is a great Arnold sculpt. He was 44 in that movie, which is not that old. He didn't have tons of wrinkles like he does now at 65. :slap

Also, the MMS hs is closer to End of Days time frame about 8 yrs later imo.

Thats it exactly, I'm always trying to hold the camera as steady as I can but the slightest movement and the pic is all blurry:mad: I don't have a tripod and I found my wifes camera in which has the macro setting, then she reminded me that my little dashound chewed the wire that connects it to the computer:slap
