Great pics Sallah. And I love your detolf set up. My comes Thursdays, and I've got a few ideas with pics.

Monger looks amazing

Got my Monger today, fantastic. I watched the UPS truck rolling up my extremely long driveway, after waiting 14 months...

I have a question for others who got one:
Is there supposed to be a clear plastic window disc in front of the arc reactor?
I ask this because I thought I noticed it when I was unboxing, but I can't be sure; Then later, I had him laying face down on my lap while opening the back panels. After I stood him up again, I clearly saw there was no clear disc over the chest reactor, and thought maybe it fell off and rolled to some obscure location in my cluttered room.
If there is NOT supposed to be one, please put my mind to rest so I won't worry the rest of the night that I might step on it and break it.
I just can't tell from the release photos if it is supposed to have a disc or not. Maybe I'm just projecting the glass plates from the Stark suits onto this... On the other hand, the chest ring looks like a clear disc could snap into place there.

Anyway- what a great piece. After reading the owners manual, I was pleased to find that the upper arms near the shoulder ball are double-articulated; very nice for posing.

dont think it is suppose to have a cover. even in movie obi just stick his hands in the hole to put the arc reactor so think ur good. or we both have same prob lol

I thought so. I guess I was hallucinating when I first took it out of the box. I remember thinking, "I'm gonna have to wipe that thing clean from time to time."
Then after looking closely, the ring looked like a window could snap in.
Thanks~~

Yeah the texture is BOSS. The faint bronze.....highlights(?) really sell the idea of raw, unrefined IRON!

I expected a LOT from this thing and I'm blowed away. There's more articulation that is immediately apparent too, but I would recommend watching Xeno's video or the one that someone posted weeks ago....where the guy is damn-near manhandling the thing. But, I wouldn't not have known where the knee joints were if I hadn't seen that.

And no, there's no cover over the arc reactor. It's just like it was in the film.

I spent the last 40 minutes counting and re-counting the points of articulation.
(I define this as being all points at which one part can move in relation to another part it is connected or linked to)
Including all joints, compartment hatches and their double-hinges, hydrolics, linkages, weapons (deployed and not), flight spoilers and their extenders, Obi's head, lower neck, waist and shoulder joints, his jumpsuit zipper, everything...
I came up with a grand total of:
156 points of articulation. THAT is an all-time record for one single figure I'm sure.

For those OCD people out there, here's a hint: don't forget to include the hidden silver ankle rollers... lol

Lol you guys are funny playing way too much with your HT!
On a side note, I replaced the batteries and the chest and head light up just fine now.
Where do you guys get your batteries? They are hard to find!

AMAZING collection Sallah! I love how neat and organized your collection is displayed! :thud:

Just a few tonight. MAN I was sweatin' some of those tight joints. I watched Xeno's vid again to make sure I wasn't torque-ing parts that were not meant to be torqued, hah. AWESOME hunk of art!
