I just read that in only Imax 3d they will show the first 9 minutes of Star Trek 2...That would be cool...so cool...plus another bonus for going to see this in Imax...I'm sure this might bring just a tiny bit more Imax ticket sales..

While I hate that the IMAX brand has gotten watered down by diminishing the screen size to fit the average local cineplex, I am very happy that Hobbit will be in IMAX HFR only 5 minutes or so from my house.
