I think the outfit is what gives the Bill figure such an edge over all others and not so much the sculpt, which is excellent but so are many of Rainman's other sculpts

I think Doc gave the bill sculpt a run for it's money if you ask me and I'm not trying not to be biased there, this could very well too if he can nail Antons psychotic look which I have yet to see in this sculpt, as good as the likeness is. ( It could very well be the photos,a straight on shot might show it if it's there)

Cold psychotic stare looks like it is there imo

Looks like the standard neutral expression were all so used to in my eyes, but like I said, a straight on shot of the sculpt could show it better if it's there.

Edit: Maybe it's just a case of the eye positioning, I think a bit of white under those pupils could do wonders.

It is looking great, but nothing Rainman has done has touched Bill for me. Likeness, outift, charcterisation, weapons/accessories.

very eager to see the specs on this though.


I would agree that Doc is the closest at topping Bill for me. Shame i could not keep that one. Heck wish I could have kept all my Rainman pieces of past but life gets in the way.

Think Calci is on with giving the eyes a slight upturned position. Would look more intent and sinister.

I believe this simple adjustment of the eyes would make It look much better.

I know not everyone would like it, it's personal preference with me to have the eyes that way, it's less doll like and more realistic when there painted looking up.

Doc??? Well in my eyes Wonka is Rainman's best piece. The clothes, sculpt and ultimate accessory (Oompa Loompa) make it the one to have. Yes, even over Mr. Butcher! Commence FLAMES!

Ya, If I could only see one figure in person that I never had it would be that one! just to see if it is as good as people say it is, like you said the pics never helped.

Yeah I'm not too convinced on the expression yet till we see it head on. Looks a bit too neutral, but I was hoping for more of a cold hearted look which can be hard to capture since it is similar to a neutral face.
