Why so we could have seen a Spidey villain flash mob? Because you know that's where the series was heading after 3. :lol
:lol Doesn't someone around here have a sig that's just like that - but with stormtroopers & Boba Fett & someone else? :lol

Like others have mentioned - if given a a proper chance, we could've seen the 'make up' movie possibly.

The thing that soured me with S3 right off the bat, was the way they handled the symbiote - period, like it was some inter stellar dog doo-doo that conveniently got stuck to Parker's tyre. :slap :lol

Aparently Pete and MJ were meanth to have had kids :lol :slap

Thing is they had already set up John Jameson as an astonaut, a scene of his shuttle, with the smybiote on the hull, crashing with Spidey saving him would've been Epic, instead it fell right next to his gay little scooter :slap

One in a billion chance of gaining spider powers compounded with a one in a billion chance of running across an alien symbiote. Peter Parker needs to play the lottery. :lol

I think spidey deserves more credit for being the first great superhero movie of the new generation. I'm sure Nolan had a look at those when he started out making batman. The fight scenes are all way better in Spider-Man. The story was better in the dark knight but only because of ledger does it seem so much better. Then the third movies came and spidey sucked and the dark knight rises was kind of a letdown as well. But tdkr was more consistent and a real ending so it's the best trilogy

In your opinion. Doesn't make it so. ;) So in your opinion Bruce finds peace, becomes immortal and lives forever? No. He's still gonna die. Either in the cowl or on a beach somewhere.

What Alfred did serve, which certainly wouldn't have had to be changed, is a counterpoint to John Blake and others who didn't feel that a man in Bruce's position was doing enough. Quitting for 8 years and letting orphanages lose their funding were BAD choices. Giving his life would have made up for those much more than donating a mansion that no longer meant anything to him.

Alfred is like the wife who cries that the hero (whether super, police, fireman, whatever) shouldn't go out and risk his life but the hero does it anyway because he believes it's the right thing to do. Having a close person upset and begging to have the hero get out of the line of fire doesn't demand that the hero retire in order to have a satisfying arc.

Same way your opinion that him dying would have been consistent with the rest of the story is just that - an opinion :lol

One of the overarching themes of the movie is pain. Probably the biggest theme in fact. Bruce had a painful episode in his childhood and ever since then he's been frozen in that moment. He's let the pain of that, compounded with the pain of Rachel's death take over his life, he's frozen in time - something that is mentioned in nearly every interview with Nolan or Bale about Bruce's state of mind.

TDKR is about moving on from that pain. Finding a way to get past it. What would all that talk about being frozen in time amount to if he just died at the end?

Alfred's entire purpose in TDKR is to make Bruce realize that there is another way to live.

But what about the whole 'secret wars' story arc?

It just didn't happen the way the film suggests.. right?

In the comics thats how the Symbiote was introduced yeah, but couldn't be done without a whole other team-up film

In the '90s cartoon the symbiote infects John Jamesons crews and when Spidey saves them he gets infected by it, that's be a helluva lot better than it happens to hit right next to him.

would love to know who the 19 peeps that voted spiderman are so i can personally slap them in the balls!

Yeah no #J/K hash tag on this *****!

Me too, Spidey is more fun and entertaining whereas Batman is dark and political.

Both good but the former serves my mood for a movie more

No nolans batman is political. Especially the Dark knight rises

In this movie they need to bring in eddie brock to work at the bulgle. That way they can develop his character.

I see. What about Harry though? I though his involvement in the story was even worse than Venom's.

I'm sure that Harry's reconciliation would've been 100x better if Brock/Venom hadn't been hogging screen time. Brock/Venom's origin was halfassed and rushed and Harry's redemption was cockblocked and forced as a result.
