NECA Exclusive 'Big Red':

Well...for anyone hoping that they do more expanded universe Preds, or Preds from comics or video games...you'd better hope ol' Big Red sells.
Oh he'll sell. I don't like him. He was in one small fan-made batman/predator film...big deal. But he'll sell.

I would love to see realistic versions of the Kenner Predators and aliens, or maybe they could try doing some of the EU comic predators like Dachande. Machiko would be awesome as well.

Wonder why they didn't properly articulate them in the first place...

Articulation adds to the cost it takes to produce each figure.

It was really NECA's first foray into the world of Alien/Predator...so I'm sure the budget for the figures was nowhere near what it is now.

Bigger budget means better articulation.

Yup thats how it goes. Im pretty sure I read on here somewhere that they're doing a kenner tribite figure. I would love to see a NECA version of cracked tusk or scavage.

That would be cool! Cracked Tusk was my first kenner Pred! Got him as a Christmas present as a kid! I remember opening it up Xmas morning! :p I'd also like to see NECA try the Warrior Predator from the Hive Wars series.

Also, NECA's philosophy towards making figures has changed. They've moved away from the pre-posed style towards posable action-figures.

Which is great but they better damn well make sure they're using quality plastics. I've spent the past few nights repairing all my T-1000 figures - that release was an absolute farce. Not one out of 11 that I bought didn't have a break of some sort - most of them had multiple breaks, so many that I don't have enough parts to fix them all. Makes me wish they'd just made him a statue.

i got rid of all my neca terminators, the series 1 t-1ooo's qc was garbage, the rest i had, mostly had sloppy paint, the two 12 inch ones were very good qc, paint and plastic, but i sold them too.

Thats my thing. I care about the yautja as a whole species. So Im all about the EU preds.

Yeah, now i'm going to make sure it fails hardcore. Don't ever use Yautja ever. Blagh. Movies only. Stop whoring the Predator out. :monkey4
