You know you have a good woman when she suggests how to get all your figures into the cabinets.

After her suggestion, I can now have everything on display where as before I had to keep Arnie and Sly in their boxes in another room as they were too big.

How cool is this?? Delighted I am!! :)

Have a pint of guiness on me :drink

Finally got my 1/4 Rambos setup, hope someday we see a First Blood 1/4.

That's more like it! Get your Rambo pics up! :yess:

Great work Sean, love the way you have incorporated all 3 movie styles. Cool action pose too. Well done :clap

By the way Sean, how highly do you rate the Ramo statue by HCG? I was thinking abt purchasing it myself abt 6 months ago but heard a few bad reviews abt it. I think it still looks great and the pose with the bow is so iconic to the movie....Live for nothing or Die for Something!

@RobertoBagg10: I still don't understand why you decided to sell your Rambo after you put much effort making the case and diorama. Is there any part of this figure that make you decide to sell doll Rambo?:thud:

What have you used to hold the tron light cycle shelf?

Hi Nightsurf, not really much wrong with the figure...if I was nit picking then I would really have hoped for better articulation in the waist and ankles...I mean a figure should really have optimum articulation especially for a high priced figure like the Enterbay Rambo. Saying that, you cant take away the incredible likeness of stallone and the amazing accessories that comes with the figure and that's what really sets this apart from all other Rambo figures/statues in my opinion. Reason for selling is only due to lack of space my friend. You have to really see my Rambo display in the flesh to understand how much space it takes up...I really underestimated the size..it is HUGE! I also have so many more pieces arriving over the next few months continuing in new year...if I can mention a few that I have arriving:

Iron Man Mark IV LSB
Iron Man Mark VI 1:1 Bust
War Machine 1:1 Bust
Galactus Maquette
Hulk Maquette
R2D2/C3PO Premium Format Exclusive
Batman Premium Format Exclusive
Joker Premium Format
Dutch Premium Format
1/6 Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile
Tygra Pop Culture Premium Format Thundercats
Cheetara Pop Culture Premium Format Thundercats
1/6 Hot Toys 1966 Batmobile
Superman Premium Format Exclusive

so you see, I have quite a bit arriving in the next year and on top of that I have over 30 Premium Formats all boxed away in my room :slap

The way I see it, it comes down to what you're after in a collectible. For me, I have my personal way I view a character and I only like collectibles that allow me to see them on display showing them off how I see them. In that regard, every 1/4 piece really works for me. The HCG statue is nowhere near the photo realism of the EB figure, but, it does have a clear Sly likeness and really captures that attitude of Rambo in the 4th movie. aso if you care more about a good character representation than how lifelike it is, he's totally worth getting.

Thanks Sean, certainly makes sense and the HCG statue could be one for the future.

C'mon guys, lets see some more Rambo pics! Yes, that means you CeeemOr and you Cap70! :yess: lets see your Rambos!

I'll endorse all the Rambo statues out there, I love all of them, since the Sideshow PF goes fairly cheap due to lack of popularity, I'd look into that one even, it's a little cartoony like the HCG but it's still a great depiction of Rambo 2 in my book and one of few Rambo/Rocky items to depict the Stallone snarl. The Rambo 4 1/2 bust from HCG and Rambo 2 1/3 scale bust from Sideshow are also nice pieces to have. It's hard to come by these days, but if you can get the HCG Rambo 4 1/6 statue, the sculpt is great, just needs a better paint job to live up to its full potential.

:clap I really dig the Rambo 4 statue in your setup, but just wished the likeness was a tad better. Love that pose with Sly ready to shoot!!! With that said, it's still one of the best representations out there for that movie. I wish we would see some more figures from that one cause it was such a great Rambo movie imo. It's right behind First Blood for me, followed by 2 & 3.

I fear the Enterbay Rambo III thread is coming to an end...what we need are some Rambo pics guys to freshen things up...load up your pics and lets rejoice :grouphug

Problem is only a select few of us have him yet and are having good experiences, lots of folks are holding out for retailers who haven't got stock yet, BBTS lists him for November. EB direct seems much further ahead of retailers with this figure than others.

I have to disagree with you, the HCG Rambo 4 statue is one of the most accurate likenesses of Stallone, the only one that can top it is the Enterbay Rambo, but as statues go this is the best of Stallone. I bet if you hand one in hand you would change your mind.

Stallone's likeness is in the HCG pieces, there's no question who it's supposed to be, but Edinho's work is stylized and doesn't have the photo realism that other companies strive for.

There's such variety to the appearance of collectibles now that certain pieces will never work for people who have specific qualities they're after.

Never said it didn't look him guys, just said I wished it looked a little more like Sly (in the face), but that is just my opinion. If you love it, cool. I think its a nice piece and would like to own one, but I think next to the EB Sly HS, you can see what I'm talkin about. Never said that statue wasn't freakin awesome!!! I would like to see more Rambo 4 stuff to choose from though cause there is only a few statues to choose from and no figures. :wink1:

I'll have more pics of my setup eventually. I bought a whole seperate Detolf just for Rambo, and hopefully Enterbays 1/4 Rocky. But like MF said, only a few of us ordered direct from EB, others who ordered from retailers have to wait till Nov-Dec.

WoW! Didnt realise so many have still to recieve him...when do you think Enterbay will run out of stock of the Rambo figure? Do you think this second batch released in November will be the last? :panic:
