He would've made a better Bane.

I seriously think they should of used a pro wrestler as bane. Not just because i am a fan of pro wrestling. But because they have the build and athleticism to be able to pull off such a role and they act over 300 days a year. Im sure they could of pulled off the role of BANE much better. Not to say i disliked this Bane.

Never seen a Steve Austin movie? Wrestlers are fine for plotless action fare -- like The Condemned or The Expendables -- but somebody like Austin would've been out-of-his-leage in TDKR. He's just not capable.

Hardy is a much better choice. I'd rather have an actor that can put on muscle than a bodybuilder trying to act.

Those pictures are a few weeks old, but I'm sold on the catwoman figure. The bane still needs a lot of work. They should of just came out with a DX version instead of the crap they are trying to sell.

Im not just talking about Stone Cold, in fact he wasnt even in my mind at the time. Because he was of the Era of wrestling where you needed to be a larger than life character. Not a grounded one like nowadays to reflect the times and knowledge the people now have of the business.

Having said that, i dont think what Hardy was given to do in the movie was out of the realms of something Steve Austin could do.

But the " body builder " trying to act thing is a bit silly on your part. They are that big because they were athletes, and they act about 300 days a year. As opposed to the actors who only do it for a couple of months a year. Behind a camera, who get multiple takes. Unlike pro wrestlers who do it 5/7 nights infront of thousands of people live and only get 1 shot at it.

But to each his own. Hardy was a good Bane. I think a pro wrestler could of done a much better job given they could be alot more physically imposing and could easily work with the material Hardy was given.

I'll confess when I first heard Hardy would be playing Bane, I was a bit worried because he definitely didn't fit the physical standards of comic Bane and aside from the luchador mask, one of Bane's most defining features is his size. That being said, I loved what Hardy did with Bane and I have no real complaints with his physical appearance after watching the film. At no point did I not feel he was smaller than Batman despite Hardy being shorter than Bale in real life.

Still, if they had used a wrestler or body builder though, they could have easily dubbed over their voice with a more experienced actor.

i cant get over the neckl on this figure. Im always a pro-female ht figure guy as i think they look great most of the time and really change up male-dominant displays. But the neck, damn it really detracts from the body and head sculpt. Battlesuit Jill valentine has a similar problem but its not as in your face as this.

This figure is still a deffo buy, its just a shame about the neck!

I been thinking the same thing these days.
Jill's proportions are perfect, Selina looks like she has the biggest head ever.. I think I've never seen a Hot Toys figure with such a big head before lol

She needs bigger hips I've been looking at the 3D model image. Hot Toys should make a final effort and create a realistic body for once

Yeah the proportions are pretty bad and given that it is a tight body suit we can't really just swap bodies for her or anything.
