Yeah

while i'm pretty much done with 1/6 myself, 89 Batman is a must own just as much as this 1/4.

If you're going to own the Tumbler/Batpod/89 Batmobile then it's a must to still own 1/6 Batman figures.

That's what i'm doing.

A 1/4 89/Batman Returns will do this to me. :thud:

Me too. Returns is my grail.

I recall there was a time between when I sold my 1/6 and this was not released I was having 2nd thoughts

what if EB does not deliver the likeness

What if EB does not......

Finally, after the product reveal it came to pass that I had made the right choice:exactly:

The main reason its stopping me is that even if I did what I was planning by having 1/4 tdkr and Avengers, all those and I'm limited to just 2 sets of collectibles.
With 1/6, I have my Avengers, Batman, horror, a western character, X-men, videogame characters, Star Wars, etc...

I'm gonna give up all for only 2 sets of figures. Now granted, those will be an imposing set. Truly museum quality. Just not sure if it would be the right decision. It is a hard decision though cause I can also see how bad ass having a bunch of these characters the same size as Batman.

Even though it goes over the cowl in the film, it only slightly covers the very edges. Some people have been displaying their capes like scarves or something. I still think under the cowl actually looks better.

i went with over the cowl haha. i like how it flows from cowl to cape, plus it helps cover the slight gap between the suit and cowl. even though Mags cotton wool trick works to cover that too but.

I experimented on both and once I went over, just no going back. Not only is it screen accurate, but I Like transition from cowl to cape better. With the cape going under, the gap starts to bother me now. My eyes are just drawn it.

Eventually the 1/6 clutter will finally get to you like it did me with some mediocre sculpts

There's a simple solution to that.

Don't buy the mediocre sculpts :lol
No guarantee that 1/4 = better sculpts.

So far
- 1/4 EB Batman - better than any 1/6 licensed sculpt (though there is an equally good if not better custom out there).
- 1/4 HT TDKR Batman - Medicom 1/6 sculpt is better
- 1/4 EB Joker - HT 1/6 2.0 sculpts are better, as are quite a few custom ones

He's right on the money imo :D Well except his Medicom comparison, I still don't see anything great about it.

Yes the sculpt is widened and repainted, but that's relatively easy to do. No modding short of resculpting will make the 1/4 or 1/6 HT heads close to as good as the modded medicom.
