Then I wonder what the big surprise will be.

to get more fan demanded figures out,I think they will do the Filmation character Sub...perhaps a Sub of 6 figures. There are too many characters to do within 2013-2014,so I expect another added figure type program, maybe an individual figure pre-order or Sub

It won't be Vehicles and it certainly won't be Castle Grayskull.I am tired of hearing Toyguru say the Wind Raider isn't selling so they can't get resources to produce bigger things or more vehicles..

The other could be Mini-Masters they showed 2 years ago,but I doubt it.

Oh,and BBTS sold out 100 Ram Man's in under 3 hrs at $59.99 today....it goes to show that people want vintage masters and that POP and NA CANNOT compete against the kings!

Jitsu sold out in one day at $49.99

While nobody gives a crap about Netossa and FangMan at $39.99 as there are plenty available for pre-order

Not surprised about storm and fishhead.

Ypu know what might be cool?
A 200x inspired subscription, ( king hiss, Randor, sorceress, etc. any characters who 200x look Was MASSIVELY different from the vintage line)
And a Filmation inspired subscription as well.

I agree with you regarding POP. I can tolerate NA and Filmation, but POP is something that I will never be able to collect.

I am also tired of hearing Toyguru talk about the reason for no more vehicles. Seriously though, if they could do the Hover Board (which was not demanded) then why cant they do a preorder even a year in advance and then proceed with design after or when preorders sellout?

eh! a seperate sky sled? just sell it as one....I don't see why they can't do the Battle Ram at all

I think the point is that a lot of people would like multiple sky sleds without having to buy what is sure to be a $50-60 or so vehicle. :)
Judging by TG's newest answers, I'm guessing smaller vehicles like that might be the ONLY chance we'll have for more.

To be honest, though, I'm glad they are concentrating on vehicles. I love the Wind Raider, but I don't know how many more other than the Battle Ram I would have wanted. Maybe Roton and Road Ripper? There were tons of cool vehicles, but as an adult I don't have a ton of room for more vehicles.

Now, I am not counting Stridor/Night Stalker as a vehicle. To me, they are a must have and I think of them as beasts. :D

Does nobody include the 70 people Who HAVE bought Netossa? Or the 81 who bought Fang Man? I wish I could get 80 nobodies to buy some of my books. LOL.

Seriously though, no brainer more people want Ram Man. But there IS a market for these other figures outside of sub buyers, clearly. It's just not as big.

exactly! they magically find resources to produce a boring, flat piece of plastic, with hard to hear sound effects, and then ask $100+ for it and its all done by pre-order...

While then they could easily offer a Battle Ram or a Land Shark for pre-order...

Hey lets stand on a piece of plastic for a $100+ and pretend we are hovering around the room -:cuckoo: pathetic!

While the greatest playset to be ever be made, never gets made!

Well, whatever happens in 2013, unless I get vehicles and or a playset, I'm done once my sub runs out. I'll have all the figures I could possibly want by the end of next year, and the only way I'd continue to support the line is if more vehicles or a playset is released.

What if they released the vehicles with a figure. I'm not too sure what figure they could include with say Battle Ram, but there is bound to be one they haven't released yet. That way they could get the figure and the vehicle out there in one swoop.

I'm not surprised by this news, but I'm glad the drama is over.

Any of you guys who bought two subs, once all is said and done I'll trade for your extras. Got some Hot Toys stuff. :)

I know I should have "supported the line" and all that, but I promised my wife I'd only trade for the next year, other than stuff that's already preordered/paid for, of course, so this is the only way I can do it right now.

Toyguru cleary shot down vehicles in the earlier posts I put up.They won't put the resources in them because the Wind Raider isn't selling,so I doubt there is going to be any future concentrating on vehicles.

also, there is a small market for POP/NA....but I hear some (or I should say read) delusional POP fans say that POP is in equal territory to the vintage line and sell equally the same...which is clearly not true. That's mostly my point

We will get more vehicles! At least Battle Ram and Roton.

Who says? you or Mattel?

When asked about vehicles-----

We would love to do another full vehicle but with 2013 sales just a smidge over the BARE MINIMUM and the Windraider sales where they are, it makes it a lot harder to go to management and ask for these type of resoruces.

We really needed the WR to perform better to justify more vehicles. We can only make toys if their is an audience to buy them.

and

Alas, a vehicle takes way more work and with WR sales being so low we just can't get the resources to do another, even as a presale

so there you have it! not happening,we didn't buy enough wind raider's

Sure, I will ask him and you can jump up and down with joy if I am incorrect.

nothing to cheer about..

I am just being realistic and believe Scott when he says no vehicles, because its hard enough just to get figures out there.

I wonder if we could rally and send a letter to Mattel, to the higher-ups so they stop being such dicks about the line... and releasing a bit more resources
:dunno...

EDIT:
I also asked a question on Mattycollector, here's the response...

TG Regarding your response of vehicle presales

I understand that you'd want to show the vehicles before a presale but:

1- Battle Ram is already sculpted, so this one is a no-brainer. If minimum pre-sales are reached great, if not, no harm done
2- For other vehicles/playsets I'm sure most people wouldn't mind preordering based on a few sketches only.

Please don't disregard these ideas, people have already proved their commitment to this line

Thanks

We are not disguarding these ideas, but right now based on the number of subscribers we have for 2013 and the sales of the WR the numbers are just not there.

I guess even if there are options, they are not even willing to try pre-orders... :dunno

Does anyone have a spare Kobra Khan and Sorceress (MIMB) for sale at reasonable prices? Sorry I would've started a WTB thread but considering the product I figured this thread would be more effective.

Lmk and thanks :)
