Its just that the curve is not as prominent as the real thing.
Also, the edges should be shaved, but very minor thing.

Damn is that cowl and face combo amazing.
Yeh, that cowl is amazing, specially the eyes and the face paintjob. Topnotch.
Makes you see how the PERS ruins most figures. Always prefer painted over PERS. If the shape of the eyes are off, it can throw off the whole look of the headsculpt.

I love how the anti-PERS philosophy is now received wisdom on these forums, but when I was singing that tune a year, year and a half ago, when the DX 02 was in high demand, people were screaming for my head.
Figure looks great. The clips look like ass and his eyes are a little dead looking due to the finish -- Hot Toys still does eyes better than anyone (at least non-PERS eyes) -- but overall that figure is killer. Wish I had $420 to blow on it -- and the Joker too, for that matter.

Agree with you about the pers, 89 Batman is the only figure that benefited from it.
Its too complicated. And EB's strong point have always been the headsculpt - matched with a sub par tailoring/outfit. While the other way around for HT.
I will use the HT body X EB headsculpt to create the ultimate TDK Batman
I'm still thinking about it. Can't make decision.
Its been a while since I last saw your photos. This should be a good comeback figure to take photos of, Agen.
I'd say Jack Sparrow benefits from PERS equally to Keaton Bats.

There are acronyms, which can be pronounced. And then there are initialisms where you just pronounce the first letter. "PERS" can be pronounced thanks to the presence of a vowel, but I just think "purrs" is something your lolcat does when it sits on your lap.
I prefer to read it as an initialism "Pee E Are Ess".. In fact when I read it to myself I think "Parallel Eye Rolling System".
When talking to the uninitiated I say "Parallel Eye Rolling System" and then explain what that means.
You guys can say "purrs" in you videos but just know it makes me giggle.
I've always said 'purse' myself.

So...Is this shipping from EB now or in September like their site says? I've never ordered from them before so I have no idea how accurate the site is on dates. I'm seeing it on ebay ready to go.
September, though some bought it at the Anicom show this past weekend.
