I was going to pick up a set of these, but not sure I should now

Personally I'm glad I passed - I've already had to deal with EB once this year on a QC-related issue, and I'm not about to get better acquainted with their CS department. And looking at recent announcements, there's no shortage of alternative awesomeness to bite on.

Opened a Paypal claim on Ebay today. I was asking for $100 refund for the missing stickers, busted suit snap and the loose bodies. The quickly countered with a $50 refund. I accepted it and closed the case. I guess I can replace the snap and fix the knees myself. Not the perfect resolution but I am happy with it.

So some are actually ok payin almost $400 for the set and putting down ANOTHER $140 on HT bodies?? that just crazy.

I tried the suit on a HT narrow and thought it was a terrible fit. The shirt was overly baggy and the coat didn't hang right. I guess with a bunch of futzing it would look ok. I just don't have the patience for it.

Enterbay accepted my 100 dollar refund request. Now I feel a bit more comfortable with my purchase.

I´m so ashamed with some people here that make a claim, receive a full refund and KEEP THE FIGURE that I´m leaving the thread.

People like that are just disgusting. I don´t know how you call in the country you live, but here we call this STEALING.

Shame on you, shame on you...

So, in your opinion, they should pay out of their own pockets to return it to someone who won't return their emails? I wouldn't. My figures are great. I haven't returned mine or asked for anything back, but one has to stick up for customers who are intentionally defrauded.

This is not the case, and you know it.

Enterbay come public FIRST and say they had a CQ problem with the FIRST bach of bodies. Prof of this is that I receive my figures in PERFECT shape only a few weeks before they start to sent it.

Enterbay agreed to make repairs and even sent replacement parts or weapons.

It wasn´t the best repair in the world, but the figures stay functional.

Also, if you don´t like the figure or don´t like the repair, you get your refund and return the figure to them.

Ask for a refund and keep the figure is the same as entering in their warehouse and steal a pair of boxes.

To get worst, people knowing they can´t answer emails because they were at Anicom started to open claims that they know Enterbay won´t be able to answer, only to be sure they could get full refunds from Paypal.

This was a robbery, loud and clear.

There is no way you can justify that!

I´m truly ashamed to make part of the same type of collector able to do that to a 1/6 company and sleep fine at night.

I'm not sure how much of this thread you've read. The only people who have gotten refunds without returning the figures are those who haven't gotten replies at all from Enterbay, even after they attempted to work through PayPal at length. There's no other way they would get that situation. PayPal decided to return their money because the company was non-responsive after a reasonable period.

You won't find one poster in this thread who has refused to return the figures, only those who are keeping them after not getting a response to their reasonable attempts to contact them, as judged by PayPal.

Enterbay knew they had issues before they shipped, and then didn't even reply to some of the unhappy customers. Now you want them to pay money to return an item they haven't even asked to have returned? What you're suggesting makes very little sense.

:exactly:

I emailed Enterbay the day after I got my figures and haven't heard a word sense. This was the begining of the month. They have until the end of the day for my case before Paypal automatically deadlines them. I've said numerous times I'm happy to send the figures back, but if they won't respond to me or paypal, then its their loss at this point. And :pfft: to them for thinking they can just ignore people's issues.

I don't suppose any of you disgusted with these would like to sell me the pair? even with issues we might come to a price....PM me if you do...

On the other hand, I bet Bill slept like a baby knowing his dodgy product was about to be swallowed by collectors at 200 bucks a pop :lol

...part of me does feel for Bill though. None of EB's previous dodgy figures had this bad a response re: paypal claims etc. Ip Man needed a replacement body, Mr Bean can't stand up either, GoD v3 was all kinds of disaster... Bill probably thought he was simply sending out what the customers had always accepted in the past.

Wow.

You know, my MiB were alright, but I'd honestly be afraid to order from EB again anytime soon after reading this thread! I think I was very lucky!

Every figure that wears a suit needs a fair amount of time spent on futzing to make them look good. I have mine on HT narrow bodies and they look pretty darn good to me.

How exactly does the glue fix work and what glue can I use? I have this one at home:

Thanks for any help!

Yes yours do look good. I actually decided to try them on the Hot Toys bodies after seeing your pictures. When I was done I didn't think they fit anywhere near as well as they did on the Enterbay bodies. Sorry, I just didn't like the fit. If you like it, that's great.
