Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

OH MAN! HT has stepped their game up like no other. They are definitely in their prime.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

I wonder if this will be the same price point as the EB one (which you know it will cost $400). I really don't think this will be cheap, $500 maybe? What do you guys think? Too many goodies and light up features.

Awesome so getting this forget EB. 500 seems like a good price PFs go for 400 now and this is a 1/4 articulates Collectible. Looks great bring on the joker plz

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

Im still saying 400.00 There wont be many poeple out there that will spend more then 400.00 on this type of collectible.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

I'm actually shocked at the reception this is recieving considering the way the 1/6 scale stuff gets picked apart around here. Maybe once the novelty of the 1/4 scale wears off for those new to it. If this were the new DX people would be up in arms about what I'm seeing here.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

Man. I can't really see myself getting into the 1/4 game but that thing is a work of art. I'm sure I'll be happy with my DX12 but this reveal is making it really tempting to get both.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

I'm hoping it would around 400 too but if not I'll be ok with po of the dx12 and bat pod. My wallet willl thank me.

I was about to post something along these lines.

Flummoxed as to why this is 'HT in their prime' etc. This is just a blown up version of the new DX, flaws and all.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

I suggest you change the whole "Lord of the EB fanboys" spiel. :lecture

Why?

First of all, it's a gag between a few friends and I, and second, just because I love EB, I can't like Hot Toys too?

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

I would think this is going to be a pretty penny. Iron Man with the Gantry is $500 and I would assume this would be more.

I actually think it's closer to the first TDK suit HT ever released, but worse considering the baggy fabric around the elbows now. HT improved the suit with each release and the latest is their best but like you said still has flaws. This has all those flaws plus all of the original's flaws as well. At this scale it's even more noticeable.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

Eh, bat sculpt still is weird.

DX12 Wayne sculpt better.

DX12 promos look better too.

The fabric undersuit looks like plain ol' fabric. DX12 has more texture to it.

I have no problem with it, but I can't say the same for Howard. :lol

Its an overall stunning package though. You get everything with this.

Re: Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman - Full Reveal

Honestly, it's one of the best collectibles I've seen in awhile. Wow.

The masks of the villains is a very nice touch, and leaves me with the feeling that we may see Joker and Scarecrow in 1/4 scale down the road!

Absolute order for me.
