Just got back. For know, I'll just say that that was one of the most visceral movie going experiences of my life.

I loved it.

The movie was amazing!!! I loved every bit of it.

I loved how they choose to have bane break batmans back!

I didn't the way they killed bane. I wish he had a more epic death.

Im not sure where this will end up versus the other two ultimately for me, but this is the only one where I felt scared for Batman, felt pain for Wayne and felt overwhelming emotion for Alfred's relationship with Bruce

And that's why Caine deserves an Oscar nomination for this film. He's a man at his wit's end, caring for a surrogate son who is broken and wanting to go out in a blaze of glory and ultimately one of the reason he's broken in the first place (concealing Rachel's choice of Dent over Bruce). Those scenes with Bale's Bruce, culminating in Alfred's revelation that he burned the note are so profound and so powerful, they squeeze your very heart and touch your soul.

If you couldn't tell from all of the flashbacks, Nolan really likes to spell it out for people.

it wasn't needed and it should have been left out. The grave scene with Alfred was a very powerful and memorable. It was one of the best part of the movie.

The Inceptionized ending talk is a bit absurd. If the autopilot being fixed by Bruce wasn't enough, they even mention at the estate hearing that the pearls are mysteriously missing and then show Selina sitting across from Bruce wearing them when Alfred sees them.

I think this was a great trilogy. My only issue is that the time between Begins and TDK was like what?? Six months? A year tops?

And then he goes into hiding and then shows up as Batman again for a few days. I know this is Nolans Batman but I like the idea of Batman fighting crime for more then 1 year and 3 days. Also was not a fan of the Happy Ending for Bruce. he's the GD Batman

Otherwise pretty much series of films.

Just got back from the IMAX showing. I thought it was a fantastic conclusion to one of my favorite film series of all time. Definitely want to check this out at least once or twice more in the theater and catch some of the smaller details that I know I probably missed this first time.

So the first film was Nolan's tribute to Blade Runner and the second was his tribute to Heat.
