I always kinda liked Resurrection. I know I'm in the minority but I like it better than Alien 3.

i like it too, well, some parts are really bad, but like I was saying the alien designs were pretty good, the sets were pretty good too, the story and the actors suck, but is a lot better than Alien3, Alien3 bores me to tears :monkey2

Alien3 is one of the worst movies ever made, worst than Resurrection

Damn straight. Alien 3 is great.

what's so great about it?
besides some of the actors, the acting might be the only good thing this has going on for it, I'll give it that, it had a couple of good actors
everything else sucks, the story sucks, the movie looks like S___ the creature looks like S__ they killed Hicks, when they didn't have to, the One magic Egg with two facehuggers made no sense, they couldn't decide on what movie they wanted to make so they made the worst one, this movie is bulls___

they even pissed David Fincher, Didn't he Leave the project at one point or something? I recall reading something about him being mad at the studio, :slap
is okay if you guys like it, I Like the Power Rangers movie because I saw it when I Was young so it has that nostalgia factor for me,
but im not going to argue is a good movie...... :slap

I prefer the directors cut of Alien3, but its slow. Out of the Alien movies, Resurrection is the weakest entry cause its goofy. At least Alien3 doesn't have the lame ass Newborn!

I know there's worse films out there but the film I was SO ____ING DISSAPOINTED with has to be Indiana Jones & The Crystal Skull

They seriously ____ed that up bad

I don't believe Alien 3 is one of the worst movies ever made. However, I do believe it is one of the most disappointing. One of the most difficult parts of story telling is creating characters you give a damn about. If you have no feelings for a character, you could care less what happens to her/him. Alien 3, in the blink of an eye, managed to kill off not 1 but 2 characters everyone gave a damn about - Newt and Hicks. That's one of the biggest missteps in movie history. Just as well, Alien 3 managed to take any sense of fright away from the creature.

Featuring more aliens that aren't the slightest bit frightening, a completely lost Winnoa Ryder, and of a large muppet creature covered in mustard and cheese, Resurrection isn't very good either.

Part of free thought is the freedom to disagree. No one can stop you from thinking what you think, just by thinking you're wrong.

True but there is a mob mentality on this board, i recall the Ghost Rider 2 thread, one guy who likes the film was continually chased away and insulted by the majority who disliked it, a guy here says he didn't love Avengers and is ostricised for being wrong.

If your opinion is agasint the grain you're not welcome.

Aliens from Cameron totally sucks. Not saying that to troll.I think it turned the alien creatures as weak insects and turned the franchise into an action oriented crapfest.I like alien 3 better. There should never have been a sequel to Ridley's masterpiece.

I like Alien more than Aliens. That film scared the ____ out of me when I was a kid I do love Aliens though.

well see, that makes no sense because you guys are complaining about the disgusting baby alien in 4, but the alien in 3 looked awful stupid, the CGI is one of the worst I've seen since, ever, anytime they showed the alien full size I cringe, it looks godawful,
the aliens in AR might not be scary, but at least they look good, they look amazing in some parts of the movie

It's not CGI. It's a puppet. The puppet effect didn't work out..but the Dog Alien design is FAR superior to the Resurrection drones.

I prefer the Ox Alien's design as well. Some of the puppet effects did look a little unusual. Kind of reminded me of when the Terror Dogs were running around in Ghostbusters.

this was not a puppet, the puppet was used on close up shots, but when the alien walked around and was shown full body it was horrible special effects
