what's under the cloth on th PF statues? Is it a full statue or just framing?

Ok so i brought this up to the spouse and told em how awesome this piece was.... i was then asked why it was so expensive given that their isnt a ton of detail and the main character is basicly a piece of cloth... is that fact that its taller really make it "worth" 800 dollars? when statues normally fall into the 300 ish range? Not trying to diss it as i do enjoy this just looking for some justification.

i wonder this as well...but there are arms and legs...wonder whats under the cloth...WHATS UNDER THE F'N CLOTH!!

The LOTR PF statue to own IMO.

Simple as that.

Looking forward to the 360 view of this. I probably won't order this on thursday exactly because I'm waiting for some rewards points to convert, but I'll be ordering the Exclusive at some point for sure.

i will be passing this one. It's a nice statue but not worth 2.5 PFs for me. Maybe if the cloth was fully sculpted or the ex looked better.

As it is now, I rather spend the money completing the avenger PFs and maquette line.

Congrats to all who are getting it, it's been a long time coming. Hopfully now ss can finally focus on finishing the fellowship for the maquette series.

I made this.

I guess over 30 centimeters in the base ( diameter ) and over 73-74 height.

I'm shocked how many ppl don't agree with the price. This is the same as the Speederbike pf (I'm sure ppl don't agree with that one either), and this is more complex, mainly cause of the Steed. The price could've been a lot worse imo. If they sold a Ringwraith by himself, it would be $300-350 alone.

boy a lot should not complane try and buy from were i am with the exchange rate . then shiping then slime govt wanting there tax on it then you will cry . i just hope a shop here brings it in and i live in the bloody country were it all started

It's mixed media, usually means real cloth garments, possibly metal pieces.

At $800, the price is comparable to the Big Chap Alien Maquette. I will order the Ex from SSC.

Does anyone here own a so-called centerpiece? I have a ____load of statues, but I wouldn't call any particular piece a centerpiece. This preview obviously rocks serious ass. Is the horse a bit small? Perhaps. Would you rather pay another $500 for a properly proportioned horse? Perhaps. Did Sideshow add up all these factors before designing this piece? Affirmative. I love it and am most assuredly purchasing it. It makes me happy. If it doesn't make you happy, pass it up. Simple.

Yeah, I have a few pieces especially lotr pieces that I'd call center pieces, and I know I've owned a few past lotr pieces I'd call the same. Now, that will differ from person to person.

But, isn't there only one "centerpiece" possible? How can one have multiple centerpieces? Is the center not merely one piece? Are we talkin' multiple concentric circles of displays?
