Thought I'd add my input for those wanting to see 1/6 scale in the Bestas. I've since replaced my SS Bat with Hot Toys' Keaton, with the Joker on the way. I had custom half-width glass shelves made before I realised Ikea actually started stocking them. Before that I had acrylic risers.

Bravo bro! I have something very very similiar in the works. Where'd you get the risers? I've built quite a few myself out of wood but have yet to get the exact look I want.

Hmm, the tape that came with it? Or did you buy your own? My lights keep falling :( I have two light strips connected with 3 of the pieces of tape that came with it on each shelf. Maybe I just need to invest in more tape huh? :monkey1

Yeah the ones that come with the lights.

Ooooooooooooo! Thanks so much for that, i've been considering upgrading my detolfs to more bestas for my figures but wondered how they'd look inside. This is exactly how I pictured doing it to, even with the half glass shelves in the back. Btw where did you get the glass shelves in that size?

Yeah , that I like !. A link to the shelves would be great. :) I wouldn't need too many also with them being so deep which is great for the space I'm limited to.

That looks great Ripsnorter. The different height of the figures on the half shelf looks brill. Definitely something to consider if you don't want to use detolfs or something similar to those, and you have a mix of 1:4, PF's and 1:6 figures.

Well I know everything you see is made by Besta (at ikea) with the lights being made by Dioder. I just need to know where he got those small glass shelves.

Yeah agreed. Can't beat that! I may get some to display the accessories to the 1:4 figures. :naughty

Didn't even notice those were glass shelves... :lol

I actually bought two sets of these... https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50196542/?query=501.965.42 but quickly decided it isn't worth $30 for the small glass shelf I need it for. I've built some risers out of spare wood for next to nothing. I'll post pics once I have everything together a bit more.

I'm thinking the way to go is to make your own risers. The only problem with these... https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/00103475/#/90103471 is they will not allow you to have two rows of 1/6th figures. You would have to cut the board in half to have room for more 1/6th figures

I'm drawing a blank, do you have a collection thread here? I've seen your customs thread (I copied your Bruce Wayne attire :D)

Not at the moment bud, the collection is getting there display wise but not at the level where I can make my own thread yet. Soon :D

Did you really!!?!? :panic: :lol nah, glad you liked it mate! :duff

Though you can't really call it a customs thread, just a "stuff i've bought on ebay and pieced together with not so good results" thread. :lol
