Ya those are pretty neat looking. I have some for TDK, Enter the Dragon and Conan the Barbarian (1982). Nice little display pieces.

I've got several of these ranging from Iron Man to The Lord of the Rings and they're awesome. So when they posted The Avengers stuff I had to get one and I got some cool scenes. I will be getting something from The Hobbit when they have those later this year.

Saw this for the 3rd (and final) time for myself before it hits blu ray; twice on IMAX, once regular theater.

IMAX all the way for this one - not even a close experience

Ya the Hobbit will be very nice! I should pick myself up some LOTR ones.

Based on how cool the LOTR (I have two of the trilogy film cell frames they have) ones are I would expect them to be.

First time for me was a regular theater.... Second time IMAX. it was a better experience round 2

So I can finally read this thread now! . . .after reading through the last few pages, I'm not sure that that's a good thing. But anyway, I think I set my expectations too high for this one. It didn't make me geek out that much, and didn't blow me away like I was kinda expecting based on the hype. It had some funny moments, lots of insane action set pieces, and did a lot of the things that it was supposed to, but lacked. . .something that could have made this a truly special movie in my eyes.

Still very cool to see all the guys on the screen together, etc. I think maybe Iron Man came off as too great across the board. He was the smartest guy, one of the best fighters, had the best lines, ultimately proved that he's as honorable as anyone, etc. They didn't focus much on his flaws here. I'm glad that Cap was the leader on the battlefield when it mattered, which I feared might not happen based on the story up to that point.

Oh, yeah. That was awesome! I also enjoyed the cameo by Thanos at the end. This is just my initial impression. Could improve once I give it some time to process.

There wasn't any naked man-on-man love for it to live up to Kara's expectations.
