Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

I looked at the high res pics just now, the EX head is a must! Its perfect. Why make the regular head when you have an EX like that?
What do you think the EX edition size will be?

You're right Alex. The EX is the only way to go with this piece. This isn't just a throw away COH. It's an essential element to this Com.

It's hard to guess what the ES will be on the EX. I'm just not sure how many Rhino fans there are. If I had to guess, I'd say between 500 - 750. 500 is my guess. I have to imagine that this will go up with a TBD ES for the EX.

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

Prototype looks good. Great detail and size. He will go great with Spidey, GG, Carnage and Venom.

My only concern is that I hope the factory painted pieces don't end up cross-eyed.

Or start flaking after your 30 warranty is over.

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

Wonder woman will debut at the end of 2012 so it won't ship until around Q2 :wave

Good point. Time to save!

My pick would be Kraven, Mysterio or Scorpion

Yes. I know people around here hate cloth but I'd like to see Kraven as a mixed media PF.

:exactly:

When you compare the two lines the X-Men line is really boring with the static poses and lame X base. Yes I collect both lines.

The "lines" are crossed anyway. Some X-Men are in action poses, some are museum, some are on a X, some aren't. And Spidey is clearly on a building while Rhino is on the ground. Is everything a "line" though? At this point it's all just Marvel.

I'd like to see a Big Time or FF Spidey made, but it's far, far too soon for another R&B statue

Says who? I'd love another r&b because I missed the PF and com. I managed to get Iron Spidey but I can't afford a r&b and I want a classic Spidey 1/4 more than anything. Plus it would sell, it's not to soon to make $$$$$. I'd also like a FF Spidey in 1/4.

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

Love the sculpt & both portraits. But is Rhino really 1/4 scale? Even though he's hunched over, seems a little small compared to Spidey?:dunno

i know sideshow alex confirmed it's 1/4 but it looks really small next to the spider comiq... is this really 1/4 or more like 1/4.8.9989 rounded down?

Why? Because the ex head is old school cool, BUT the reg. version looks way more menacing & dangerous. Yeah, even with them ears.

A tough call, as I can save mucho $ if I order the reg., but the original is what I remember as a kid. What ever choice made, we can't go wrong with this masterful sculpt (100% sculpt of course!).:wink1:

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

I foresee the Ex selling out quickly
Absolutely.

Wonderful statue. Love the Romita Sr. vibe to the Ex head.

Congratulations to all you wealthy people. :)

I don't know how some people would hate for Kraven to have cloth when he's a perfect candidate for the mixed media element, so does Mysterio for that matter. (Not sure bout the cape but he's already in PJs)

:exactly: Just to add on the 2nd statement. This Rhino piece isn't part of any line, just part of Spidey's universe which people just tend to associate with the Olivetti trio/line (Which was made to compliment each other hence the matching bases) since it's a Spider-Man villain.

Re: Rhino Comiquette under developement?

 to the factory to get the paint right!

Lets pray that it will not be flat paint, or it will have to go straight to the painter again!
