can't wait for this one. KOTOR is one of my favorite games of all time and I've played a lot of games. it's turn based so you do have to get used to it. but it's real time turn base. but anyhoo this one will tide me over till KOTOR 3. i don't expect Force Unleased to be stellar but deep down i hope it is. it's a SW game so even with the faults it is going to have(probably) i will still enjoy it. heck i even enjoyed OBI-WAN on the original Xbox and that had many, many faults.

I really dislike KOTOR(not cause of the story cause of the RPG style...i wanna swing my lightsaber around in real time at will not pause the game to use it)Looks like i'll get to do that with this game.

If you don't like RPG's then you for sure would not like KOTOR. "I like the Dallas Cowboys, but I didn't like their game because you have to throw and run with a football and stuff."

You must not have played KOTOR much then (on the Xbox, at least) because while it is technically turn-based RPG combat you don't have to pause it and it actually plays out in "real-time". You just click your next moves while the current ones are playing out.
Also, when you're just walking around you can swing your lightsaber(s) around at will using the "Y" button.
In any case, KOTOR (the story and characters) is the pinnacle of the SW Expanded Universe so far, and nothing else comes close, imho.

Nope played them both on PC.(and also i'm talking about turning it on at will and swinging it around and ****/doing moves ala jedi outcast etc. can you do that on xbox?)

I think it's coming out on other consoles as well, like PS2 and Nintendo DS, but they won't be the same.
This really should be a great game. I'm also fully expecting Battlefront 3 next year or the year after.
Also, wasn't there some news that the next KOTOR project would be a new MMORPG?

Ya the new battlefront is for PSP only.(unless a new one comes for the rest)
I just watched the "Chad Vader" interviews on the DVD and was surprised (and delighted) to hear that Matt Sloan (director, "Clint", and voice of "Chad Vader") will be supplying the voice of Darth Vader for The Force Unleashed!
Now, that's a good gig! And I must say that he does a VERY good Vader.... Good choice by LucasArts, imho

i swore someone posted it in the 360 thread... i might be wrong but this video does look pretty sweet!!! my only gripe with this game has a little to do with the premise.... wouldn't palpatine sense/know that vader has trained an apprentice??? vader was palp's little biotch in the movies/ books so how did he manage to sneak away at night to train a force user???
