This might be a random question, though will there is a DX P1? Since there is DX batmans & jokers & jack sparrow etc, why not do a predator? Is it even possible?

Predator = tiny eyes witch is kind of pointless with the PERS system that DX seem to all be about really... This subject has been picked over so many times... I wouldnt put it past Hot Toys to do it some day though we are talking the rerelease masters here...

Well I don't want tsang sculpting the p1 predator. I loved pan mac (spelling?) sculpt of the p 1. The dreads was a letdown though. And to replace the pers system they should do something unique and special like idk, light up wrist bomb

We kind of got that with the classic predator though it's half torn so it would be cool though, having the elder standing on top of it. Btw this is a shout out to everyone who has basically every predator, please take a photo if your bothered ,of all the predators in one big group family friends photo like putting their arms over their shoulders etc. I want to see what it looks like.

No, when you have to myspace angle it to hide its flaws, it's just terrible. I purposely light the figure from the top to avoid those godforsaken eyes.

The new NECA P2 I don't have a problem with, it looks outstanding from every angle.

Nope. Snake and Classic share the same base headsculpt, that's about it. The mandibles are different between the three of them (Snake's have spikes; Classic's have no spikes; P2's have spikes and ridges at the base of the tusks). The poses are just identical. And the base headsculpt on P2 is obviously different from the other two.

they've come a long way from the first generation preds.

yet they cant still match up with the P2 elder's sculpt. instead they cut corners and give you a base pred that will be most likely the upgrades are gonna be...you'll end up with the same pred with a different haircut/bald spot for each different release. :/

Okay, ignoring all of the character-specific details. Just the overall shape of the heads. Snake and P2 look pretty much the same.

I'm saying that I think they took a Snake head, altered the head crest, added the inner head crest, added/removed mandible details for accuracy..etc.

I don't think they actually sculpted a new P2 head from scratch..looks like they just took Classic/Snake's and added outer details accurate (not very accurate) to the predator this figure is supposed to portray.
