I'm amazed by 3A's Rex and Ray, but honestly they're just too big. Who has space for such things? Even if I were still a little kid they're just too cumbersome to have a good time playing with.

I don't know what to make of the news of an EX version with open helmet head sculpt. I'd probably feel a bit cheated if I purchased the original Fox.

Where did you hear that? Are they making one with an open mask?

Yeah, it's an exclusive red version that comes with the extra head. Search back a few pages.

I just picked up the Ninja today, and while he has a bad ass sculpt, I still don't get why they painted him orange and not pink. I mean, even altering the color in Photoshop makes him look cooler than what was released (I borrowed the previous posters picks):

With Rex (Aug), Boss & Snake (Dec) this has turn out to be a very high expense year
for me. (not to mention Samurai Pred in June - -')

Yeah Nova, it sure is a great year for MGS. I'm going to NYCC this year hoping to see some of this stuff in person...and fight temptation to launch a FoxHound style assault on the con to snatch all the prototypes.....

Me too, i noticed the paint difference too, it might have just been high contrast lighting in the pre-order pics
