NICE! Very clean! A good one: flush PERS hatch, straight batsymbol, etc.

Hey guys, my figure has a few minor issues and being new to this hobby, I'd like your opinions on whether these things are within the norm or considered a QC issue:

1. The right cannot move upward at the side nearly as far as the left arm. It simply cannot hold against the push of the rubber suit unless I move it at an angle.

2. The eyes cannot move as far to the right as they can to the left, however they can move further to the right and upward than they can to the left and upward.

The reason why I ask is because I have the opportunity to get a replacement figure due to the glue issues (magnet coming off of the faces and gauntlets coming apart). I don't really want to go through the trouble of replacing it for a few glue issues alone, but the other issues I mentioned are not normal and expected, then I might take my chances on a new one.

What do you all think?

When you say the right cannot move upward. Do you mean the figure's left arm?

If that's the case, don't worry about it. Both of mine are like that. It won't go up as far as the right arm/shoulder. I'm pretty sure it's not a fault, that's just how it is. It's just the rubber suit. If you contort and pose the bicep in a certain position it'll stay. Don't worry, nothing is faulty with the true type.

I had posted the other day about the stand forks causing dents in his inner thighs, it goes without saying that will happen. Anybody who is concerned about that I wanted to inform you on this. I had it on the stand for 4 days, didn't think there was much pressure on the legs but turns out there was 2 very noticeable dents from the fork. But, I have since let him stand on his own (with a lot of ankle adjusting) and he hovers over the fork, and the dents have been reduced by 80-90%. To be honest, it's been getting less and less noticeable everyday. Hopefully this continues, 1 dent in his left inner thigh is basically gone, the right 1 is still there but very very slight, you'd probably miss it if you weren't looking for it (I had to point it out for my girlfriend)

Not really a out of the box defect, but be forewarned of the mean stand. I wonder if I can get some styrofoam I can let him rest on so he's not exactly touching the stand because I worry he might tip back in the night and he's leaning on the stand and causes a imprint.

Sideshow waist huggers will fit into the Hot Toys post if you're worried he will fall over.

Thanks. I've seen a lot of photos in the thread with the waist huggers but I didn't know who made them. But is there a chance that can cause the same issue but on the waist? I definitely would like to grab the one in one that you have. That's a great set up displaying his accessories, I think it's a sin to not display them with him since their so awesome.

I tried to pose him with the grapple gun with his arm straight out but his suit causes obvious resistance, I'm afraid to force it straight out (afraid of a tear) but I seen plenty of pics of people doing that though with it.

With the Sideshow waist huggers you can bend them out a little wider so they're not to tight. You can also have it hug around the belt. Older Hot Toys stands also came with waist huggers, but don't try to bend them out wider as they'll just snap.

When I seen yours, I was thinking it was a waist hugger like the Superman, that's why I assumed there would be indentation since it has the spring it. I'm really glad the dents are just about gone. But as I was examining it earlier, I noticed on the top rear of the left boot there is a 1/4 inch crack in it. I know I didn't do that since I've been very careful with it. I've thought about picking another one up but with all the things people reported, for things I'm nitpicking at I still think I should be thankful for what I got.

EDIT: I'd like to pick up another cape but I haven't seen any parted it out on eBay.
