Sorry to hear that chin. I have seen them do that before with pieces that are in great demand. I had no problem getting my Ex Colossus Com changed over to a flex pay when I had him PO'd. LOL!
Here is what I find a little odd. If you are willing to start the flex pay now, then they would be receiving their money upfront. The rest of us not on flex will pay in June when the statue ships. I find it strange that they wouldn't start taking your money now. I could understand them turning you down if you couldn't pay for the statue in full by the time it is released. Oh well, at least you are still getting the statue.

Yeah I thought so too but that is the agreement I signed up to. I didn't think it would be a big deal to switch it to the payment plan but hey it's cool I still get the PF!

I've got a question. I ordered the EX when it went on sale using the Flexpay option. Is that still going to hold, or are they going to charge me the full price all at once in June? I haven't received any emails notifying me about any Flex payments yet, so I'm wondering. Thanks for your help guys!

It should still hold true. I say check your current orders and see what payment option it shows for that statue. Even if it show's all at once I'm pretty sure SSC will work with you on payments if you want to go that route.

I don't get it...didn't you say you were buying 4 because they were going to be so expensive down the road (hence to flip them later and make money) ?

What i said is that now for the price i'm paying is decent compared to the price i'm going to pay if i decide to buy them two years from now. So instead of spending half of what i'm paying for 4 for only 1 later on i might as well get multiples of these now. Since i like buying multiples of things i like, i bought these because joker is my villain on the batman series that i like so of course i will buy multiples of him since i like him. That is just the way i collect. Shoot if i made more money i would buy more of the pf ex but i'm only going by what i can afford with how much i make so after researching my budget, 4 is the most i can get.

Buy as many as you want, finding a buyer to pay premium on this will be easy if you need to move them...this is going to hit Dr. Doom PF status...

doubt it. There will be demand for it, but hitting $2k+? I'd bet that will never happen. The reg will prolly have a ES of 2500-3000 too, so that's not going to be very hard to find. The Ex on this isn't even all that great, I know I don't like the additional head. If I get one, it will be the regular for me.

Probably from 1000-1500 range the statue will be worth, and i think nothing will touch that pf doom due to low quantity i believe either 300 or 500 made and just a huge project for ssc to do with the throne which adds much value to that statue, joker will not reach that status as well i believe, although i wish it would.

Being such an iconic character and the first is SSC's DC line I'm pretty sure the after market value on this bad boy is going to increase dramatically overtime. Dr Doom prices...who knows but def will be high none the less.

which means there will be plenty more comic Jokers to be made including a LSF, which will mean nobody will pay LSF prices for a 1/4 piece when they can just get a LSF. Same thing with Wolverine type stuff. It's simple supply and demand, this pf will never reach $2k or anywhere close.

In no way am I attempting to say this statue will hit or even come close to $2k. The point is the value will go up as Joker is super kick ass and an iconic villian in the comic world. DC fans (I include my self there) have been waiting for a good representation of our favorite DC characters and finally it looks like that is going to start happening.
So if you're the type of person simply collecting to resell you can't really go wrong with the Joker. Let me preface: I'm not one of those people so frankly I could care less about what the physical resell value is. I want my collection to reflect me and in that sense my collection will never loose value as they will always be special to me.

I think alot of the value of the piece will be on how the paint turns out. the whole statue is covered in cloth except for the face and gloves and if the face looks nothing like the proto than you're going to be getting this statue below retail.
The detailed paint job on the proto is going to be hard to replicate in a factory in china.

Whether it is worth doom prices or not later on is not my deal in collecting this figure to me it is just the first dc made and joker sealed the deal. I only buy exclusive or nothing at all so i made the jump. Can't wait till june, now all i have to worry about is damage in shipment.
