31" for $2k is a little steep for this piece. If you add the height of the original Thor PF, that was only 28". This should had not been more then $1500.

Sideshow did themselves a disservice releasing this piece as a Legendary Scale Figure. The LSF line should only be true 1:2 scale releases. I can't think of any figures in the Premium Format line that are smaller than 1:4 scale. I think SS released this as a LSF to squeeze the extra dollars out of us. This piece should've been released in the Maquette line for around 1600-1700. Either way, i'm not ordering, despite being a pretty cool piece.

I hope not a lot buying this, or they will do it again with 1/3 no es and etc.... Maybe CM will come out a batter wolf p .

agreed, this should be in the maquette line for $1500ish price, with the masked head as the exclusive, and an edition size.

who's making those business decisions at ss, looks like they dont want money, fine with me!

Wow!

People are pissed here and on Statue Forum.....

Look, I understand how frustrating this is to many people who want to get it and can't afford the $2000 but the silver lining is that they offer flexpay and if it is truly an open edition, you can save 83 for 24 months in a savings account named "Come Home Wolfie" and get it when you have enough....

I want that piece so bad but I don't blame Sideshow for offering it for that much. It has insane detail, more than the other Predators combined....

Again, just my humble opinion.....

Cheers

Bear

That's a big loss for the seller to make.
Im quite handy so ill keep an eye out for one with a defect or fixable break that will put off folk from bidding or it may be listed cheap.

I wont be going after an "as new" one wayyy too much.

I'll buy it if I don't have kid, house, wife or cars. Most of us need to save money for those not this.

Sideshow CollectiblesWhile the LSF figures will not be numbered individually, rest assured that the number produced is quite limited. You're quite right, our reasoning for the non-published edition size does have a lot more to do with allowing collectors the maximum opportunity to own one of these big beasts, to save or square away the space, because these are not quick, impulse buys (for the average joe). We will keep them available as long as is practical, based on many factors, including popularity and production realities, but they are essentially made to order. Perhaps we'll someday share the final edition sizes, but to be honest, we'd rather that collectors make a decision on these pieces based on the quality of the statues themselves than whether or not the number is 200, 500, or 5 million produced. (Hint: the number is not 5 million)

plastic toys is plastic toys, no matter how big they are. Why you even bother making the comparison to a statue.
About the same size probably, paint will be much better..same genre, same character..there's a few reasons why you would compare the two.

we should all post on sideshow's facebook page about how stupid this is.

after all that hype & wait, we get an open edition, wtf is wrong with ss...

already did, God I ____ing hate SS so much right now, this should've been a maquette.

Agreed

I can't believe I actually said I might pay $1500 for this a few pages ago. And now it's a whole $500 more. Disappointed..

Can't you get the Predator Cinemaquette for this price? I'm sure that one is of much higher quality...

Probably. While I think I may like this one more, I can't imagine the rage I'd have if this thing started to flake paint.
