Agreed

I can't believe I actually said I might pay $1500 for this a few pages ago. And now it's a whole $500 more. Disappointed..

Can't you get the Predator Cinemaquette for this price? I'm sure that one is of much higher quality...

Over 4k on evilbay...I wouldn't pay that. But the CM sells for way over the original 2k price tag.

Hey guys!

You might think I'm crazy but I don't think $2000 is the wrong price for this. I mean, have you seen the amount of detail on this bad boy?

I know, I know.....The original Pred was like 1K and the Cinemaquette Predator was $2 which is apparently bigger, but this is a really big piece with a great Alien base and a very dynamic pose and the detail on his face, extra head, the armor, even the base for the extra head is cool....

I Know it is a lot and unfortunately I can not afford like I could not afford the Cinemaquette, but with flexpayments and all it is a pretty amazing piece to have in anyone's collection.

I actually prefer this to the original Pred as well as the cinemaquette.... I just have to sell all my collection to get this piece.....

Ummmm.... maybe I will.....

Cheers

i dont care about the stupid size everyone is so concerned about, even the price isnt the end of the world. But this has no ex and NO EDITION SIZE! $2k for a piece that will still be on sale 5 years from now? no thanks!

I'd probably get this if it was the city hunter from Predator 2. But I hate anything AVP though that's just me.

It's an incredible piece but I'm not convinced on the scale and price. It looks between 1/4-1/3 and not a true 1/3 scale piece. Also it's the same price as Darth Maul and Wolverine which are much bigger. IMO its about $400 over priced.

Yup. Maul and Iron Man stand at 40" tall and are 1:2 scale.

From the comic con videos, this appears to be somewhere near 32-34" tall.

It won't look anything like it does in those pictures when you have it in hand. Fyi

$2K for 1/4 scale :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl What's so different from this and a PF or maquette except for a few extra switch out parts ? Watch PF prices go up again if too many people buy this. LOL @SS

Like I said guys, dont really care about the size, but SS said hes 31", but i agree awesome, SS likes to b.s. everyone, just letting you know what they are sayin on fb

I want to take pitch forks to the SS facebook

aren't you the one who constantly said you won't pay more then $1500 for it?

Agreed

nope, not anymore, that goes for $3500-4500 on a regular basis now.

SS is saying on their FB that its 31" in height, same as wolverine

they also said the Predalien maquette was 27in, when in reality, it's only 24.

Also, you all know that SS lies about the size of about..all of their merchandise? Can't really know for sure until you measure it yourself.

As big as a Wolf Pred fan I am, this is going to be a pass for me at the moment. I may try to scrap the money together later on down the road but for now its a pretty EZ pass.

I may just hold out and wait for hot toys to release a 1/4 scale Wolf Pred, then I would not even think about purchasing this for 2k.

Ton of money for a statue that I can not see myself ( or wife letting me ) spending.

By the way...pretty disappointed with the price and wish they would have just made a premium format figure...I would have been more than happy with that instead.

Oh, come on...HOw do you know for sure?

There are a lot of pieces that came out exactly like the prototype and although you might be right about this particular piece, Legacy has a good reputation with their pieces. And so Sideshow...

I have the lien Warrior maquette, the Pred 1 maquette and they are in my opinion perfect.....

It is a gamble but it is one I would be willing to make, if I could.....

Cheers

we should all post on sideshow's facebook page about how stupid this is.
