Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I'm sure they all know about it, Dooley had to get the license to do these, and they all (I assume) hold the license, or part of it.

I hope they know, they have to be really proud that their ideas made all of this possible, as well as Dooley and SHS.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I'm looking into it for an alternate way of purchase for customers.

A lot of people use that service. Sometimes I sell crud on ebay to get the funds for things I want more. It would save a lot of transferring from bank, etc. if I could just give you the funds in my Paypal account for future pre-orders.

Off to a rolling start here Dooley. Like the others---I drool for Fluffy sneaks--- after we get Nate in the bag.:lol

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Why does my order say declined but the PayPal records show it's been taken (paid by PayPal Business Debit)? :dunno

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I want Tom Savini and Stephen King to own your creations. They had a big part in making the movie and seem like cool guys. I'd suggest George Romero as well, but he's made a couple of really bad zombie movies lately, so I think he's undeserving.

It doesnt matter if George Romero decided to make nothing but documentaries on the dangers of wearing asbestos underwear until the day he goes to the great beyond. He is still worthy of some major props. He created the modern zombie lore.

That's kind of like saying: "Well, heck...Stan Lee created that stupid Nth Man character, and Ditko drew the final issues of Rom. That stuff was a loada bunk. So they are unworthy of some honor or another. But without them (along with King Kirby) we wouldn't have a great chunk of what is known as Marvel Comics. Shamey shamey on you.

Give Georgie his props, man. He brought us Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and obviously inspired such films as The Dead (by the Ford Brothers), and the hit television show The walking Dead.

As for SK or GR discovering the figures exist...give it time. Their fans will send them one eventually as a present. :fest

Incidentally---go to a HorrorHound convention sometime when Georgie is a guest of honor. The line for his autograph goes out the door and around the corner. Plus the fire marshal gets called. I'm not kidding.:panic::monkey3:1-1:

Voice inflection is lost in cyberspace---so I am not being a jerk. I think George still deserves some respect is all. :1-1:

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

He deserves respect for creating zombies and the films Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and I'll even throw Land of the Dead in there. However, Survival of the Dead isn't something that can just be forgotten. There must be some kind of reparation for that.

Yeah---Survival of the Dead was hideous. :lol I liked Diary of the Dead tho. Maybe he will hit a creative stride before too much longer. He could still pull another winner out before the real zombie apocalypse hits.:clap

As for the credit card issues with Dooley. The man seems to be on top of things, and has some seriously mad skills at customer service. He will no doubt have the kinks worked out before Fluffy hits, and he's giving us what we want. Unmade as yet licensed Horror figures. So lets make sure we give him some props as well. I used to scare the heck outta my kid brother with the Nate segment of Creepshow. I cannot wait to show him this, lol.

:lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly:

Kinda dumb to strip the man of his accomplishments because his last film stank. Without George, we wouldn't have the awesomeness that is The Walking Dead. Food for thought. :wink1:

And King did Maximum Overdrive. ____ happens.

My question is whether they can do a Jordy Verill with some of King's face visible. I wouldn't want the final moss monster, but something like this would be cool:

I thought Maximum Overdrive was alright.

I was also just kidding around about George Romero. Survival of the Dead was really horrible, but I've watched tons of zombie movies and I realize he's the guy that started it all and a lot of what I enjoy wouldn't exist without the old dude's idea.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Yes they do.

Well after the bugs are worked out we'll try hooking that up too! For the most part the pre sale went well :clap

And mostly for my friends over seas I'll get things back on track tomorrow morning!

Thanks everyone for your support and patience!!!!

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Ole Jordy would be my only pass in the line up. I hated that particular segment. But I will buy Fluffy, Raoul, The Water logged zombies, and maybe even Roach man. But definitely Fluffy. Oh yes---Fluffy will be mine....and I wont have to pay $400-500 for him. At least---I better not have to.:lol
